PAMPA PRIVATE HELPS FIHE REDSTONE MISSILE DOLLAR DAYS! WHITE SANDS. N.M. (Spl) —• Army Privates First Class Billle C. Burress (left) of Fampa, and Anthony M. Haass of Dunlay, Tes., participated In the recent firing of a Redstone missile at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mex- cio. They are members of the 46th Artillery Group's Battery B. from Fort Sill, Okla., which assembled, erected and serviced the h u g e missile. The fully tested liquid- propelled 200>mile-range Redstone is now tactically deployed in the ] hands of the NATO forces in Eu' rope. With the firing of the missile, the personnel of the battery completed an intensive missile training program. The two men entered the Army in April 1958 and completed ba- 1 sic training at Fort Sill. i i Burress, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin O. Burress, 412 N. Sloan, is a launcher crewman and fueler in the battery. He attended! Mobeetie High School. His wife, Alice, lives In Lawton, Okla.
