And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up; 5. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth 6. And when the sun was up they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them 8. But others fell into gocd ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirty- fold. John 15: 1-8 Jesus states 1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. I am convinced that every true Christian by the Word of God must bear fruit. Each one has a talent and it must be used or it will be taken away from him. The man who didn't use his one talent — Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. If this man had used his talent, he would have bore fruit. Let us stop, look and listen. Where do we stand in fruit bearing' n « Mi. .if
