William Shclton Kelly of 203 E. Bernard St., Clute, was released on bond from County Jail Wednesday. He had been placed there earlier In the day alter the charge of making an obscene phone call was filed before Justice of the Pence A. I,. Leo of Angleton. Lee set bond at $t.OOO. The suspect was apprehended through the cooperation- of the Lake Jackson couple utiosc home IK' called, the Luke Jackson l\jlicc f>pt. and a Clute police officer. According to the Lake Jackson Police Depl., a Uke Jackson man called the Police Ocpt. here at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday, to report that another obscene phone call was being mad« to his home, and that a man was at that time saying obscene things to his wife over tht? phone. He «as advised to have his wife kct'V the caller on the phooe until a police officer arrived. When the officer arrived, he talked with the caller, posing as the woman's husband. Glas/ord; one son. Glenn Milton Glasford Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y.; and two grandsons. The arrested suspect wat taken to the Lake Jackson Police Dept. where both the husband and wife were present for an interview conducted by police. Use lefephow caller was on the phone from 1:50 am, until 2:M a.m., and Bower* talked with the caller during 30 minutes of that lime, A search erf the sutpect'* car revealed an old black pura and a woman's blue hairbrush.
