Bear, died Sunday at York Hospital. A life-long resident of Manchester Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Lucinda Becker Fink, and belonged to First Church of the Brethren. Surviving are a son, Jacob A. Bear, and a daughter, Mrs. Treva R.

Myers, both of York RD three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Diehl, 310 E. Jackson St. Her pastor, The Rev. Curtis W.

Dubble, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the L. E. Diehl Funeral Home, Mt. Wolf.

Interment will be in Aughenbaugh's Cemetery. Jack J. Bacsik Jack J. Bacsik, 55, husband of Mrs. Ragnhild Gevert Bacsik, died Friday at his residence, 116 Scarboro Drive.

Born in Evanston, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Kersch Bacsik, he was employed as an air conditioning engineer at Borg-Warner. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the U.S. Power Squadron and the Baltimore Yacht Club. Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, James J. Bacsik, Philadelphia; two daughters, Mrs.

Jean Anstine Devon, and Debra Bacsik, at home; two grandchildren, and a sister, Kathryn Geigold, Clearwater, Fla. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Asbury UM. The family suggests memorial contributions to the chapel conversion fund of Asbury Church. Mrs.

Wayne S. Fink CLY Mrs. Alice A. Shultz Fink, wife of Wayne S. Fink, of Cly, died Saturday morning at York Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

She was 48. A native of York, Mrs. Fink was a daughter of Albert J. Shultz, 222 Jefferson York, and Mrs. Sarah Minnich, 153 W.

Jackson York. Also surviving are: Eight children, Mrs. Juanita Chiffons, York RD Mrs. Nina Webb, Felton; Mrs. Waynetta Sipe, Manchester RD 1, Linda Fink, Sazton RD Barbara, Bradley, Frederick and Curtis Fink, all at home; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Shultz 913 W.

College York; Albert Shultz 2550 Stillmeadow Lane, York; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Brenneman and Mrs. Virginia Snellbaker, both of Manchester. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the L.

E. Diehl Funeral Home, Mt. Wolf with The Rev. Myrl T. Slaybaugh, pastor of Mt.

Washington United Brethren In Christ Church, officiating. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. -Floyd S. Smith Floyd S. Smith, of 709 York superintendent of the distribution department of York Water died Saturday at 7:12 p.m., at York Hospital.

He was 44. Husband of Mrs. Barbara E. Bonneville Smith, he had been an employe of the water company for about 23 years. He belonged to St.

Mark's Lutheran Church and was a Navy veteran. His memberships included Victory and Yankee Athletic Assns. and Goodwill Fire Co. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: Four daughters, Constance JoAnn, Barbara Ellen and Beth Elaine Smith, all at home; a sister, Mrs. Margaret C.

Wastler and a brother, William Smith both of 1260 E. Philadelphia St. The Rev. George R. Knarr, Mr.

Smith's pastor, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Workinger Funeral Home, 849 E. Market St. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Emory D. Hoffman Emory D. Hoffman, husband of Mrs. Irene A. Becker Hoffman, died Sunday at 8 a.m.

at his home, 109 E. Seventh North York. He was 79 and a former employe of the J. B. Fishel Baking Co.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Modern Woodmen of America and a lifemember of Liberty Fire Co. No. 1, North York. Mr.

Hoffman was born in York New Salem, a son of the late Levi and Emmaline Bupp Hoffman. Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Marie E. Prowell, 106 W. Sixth Mrs.

Martha Kauffman, 824 E. South and Mrs. Grace E. Miller, 20 W. Eighth two sons, Clair W.

Hoffman, at home; and Roy A. Hoffman, 2474 Berskshire Lane, Dover; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; a brother, Paul Hoffman, Lancaster; and two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Rohrbaugh and Esther Hoffman, both of York New Salem. His pastor, the Rev. Howard O.

Walker, will officiate at the funeral Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Jacob M.

Brown Sr. Jacob M. Brown 73, formerly of York, died Friday at Murfreesboro, Veterans Administration Hospital. A native of Stoverstown, he was a son of the late William and Lucielle Ehrhart Brown. Surviving are a son, Jacob M.

Brown 121 N. Penn and a granddaughter. The Rev. Thomas R. Jones, pastor of St.

Luke's United Methodist Church, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Chas. E. Leber Funeral Parlors, 200 Carlisle Ave. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Jacob H. Ebersole REDLION Jacob H. Ebersole, 80, of 506 S. Pine husband of the late Mrs. Alberta Flinchbaugh Ebersole, died Sunday at 2:30 a.m.

at York Hospital, where he had been a patient one week. Mr. Ebersole, a native of Lebanon County, was a son of the late The Rev. John G. and Sylvania Hatton Ebersole.

He was a retired employe of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md. Mr. Ebersole at one time was employed by Lebanon Daily News and also worked as a cigar maker. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Red Lion Post 543, American Legion. He also belonged to St.

Paul's United Methodist Church and Sunday School. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Susan Shenk and Mrs. Phebe Fesnecht, both of Campbelltown, Pa. The Rev.

William F. Woods, Mr. Ebersole's pastor, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Burg Funeral Home, 134 W. Broadway.

Interment will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Mrs. Elizabeth A. Polk AIRVILLE Mrs. Elizabeth A.

Polk, 93, of 19 Maple Hershey, widow of Dr. A. M. Polk, died Saturday at 9 a.m., at Campbelltown Nursing Home. Mrs.

Polk was born in Chanceford Twp. and had resided in Hershey the past 45 years. She was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey. Surviving is a son, Samuel A. Polk, Hershey.

The Rev. James D. Brocker, pastor of Chanceford Presbyterian Church, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, Delta. Interment will be in Chanceford Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. John HI. Blumenschein COLUMBIA Mrs. C. Jean Blumenschein, wife of John H.

Blumenschein, Columbia RD 1, was pronounced dead upon arrival Saturday at 7 p.m. at Milford, Hospital, after she was stricken while visiting at Bowers Beach, Del. She was 48. Mrs. Blumenschein had been under a physician's care for a heart ailment.

She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda Becker Martin. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Columbia. Surviving also are: Two daughters, Shirley Ann Blumenschein, at home; Mrs. Charles Gallagher, Columbia; seven sisters, Mrs. Harold Graham, Pequea; Mrs.

Paul Leese and Mrs. Arlie Edgall, both of Lancaster; Mrs. Charles H. Gable, Columbia; Mrs. John Sheirich, Lancaster RD Mrs.

John Waller, Marietta, and Mrs. Roy Ritzman, Silver Spring, three brothers, Joseph J. and William Martin, both of Landisville, and James Martin, Lancaster. The Rt. Rev.

Msgr. Rudolph Fuhr, pastor, will be celebrant for a Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will be in Silver Spring Cemetery on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Ernest L.

Bolton Ernest L. Bolton, 35, of 620 E. Maple died Saturday at his home. He was the son of Mrs. Margaret Smith Bolton, 620 E.

Maple and the late Thomas Bolton. He was a member of the 12th Ward Republican Club. Surviving him also are his wife, Mrs. Diane Mank Bolton, and two sons, Thomas F. Bolton and Michael Bolton, all of Arizona; his paternal grandmother, Mrs.

Leppo, 60, wife of Leroy J. Leppo, 800 Motter Frederick, died Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Frederick Hospital. She was a native of Hanover. Mrs.

Leppo was a daughter of the late Samuel C. and Lillie Izer Haner. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Frederick. Surviving also are: A daughter, Mrs.

Suzanna White, Emmitsburg, four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Starner, York; Mrs. Blanche Trump, Laurel, Mrs. Hazel Galey, Abbottstown, and Mrs. David Mummert, Hanover, and two brothers, John and Norris Haner, both of Hanover.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, McSherrystown. The Rev.

Paul Miller will be celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Anna Bupp Harbold Mrs. Anna Bupp Harbold, 77, York RD 1, widow of George Harbold, died Sunday at 12:05 p.m.

at York Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoverstown, and of the American Association of Retired Persons. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Mary I.

Bupp, 158 N. Queen six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was born in North Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Lucy Zorbaugh Bupp. Funeral arrangements Sunday night were incomplete. James I.

Walker SHREWSBURY James I. Walker, 86, husband of Mrs. Effie Keller Walker, formerly of Shrewsbury, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Homewood Church Home, Hanover, after a lengthy illness. Mrs.

Walker also is a resident at the home. A son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Fitz Walker, he belonged to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, and was a farmer in the area prior to moving to Shrewsbury in 1940, when he began employment with Rennoll Brothers. He retired about 1967. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Mrs.

George M. Shilke, Shrewsbury; Irvin Walker, Loganville; Mrs. Mark Knouse, 516 Prospect York; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Jones, New Freedom. His pastor, The Rev.

Charles O. Zechiel, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary, New Freedom. Interment will be in Giesey Memorial Cemetery. Family suggests that memorials be sent to Homewood Church Home, Hanover.

Mrs. Imo Landis Mrs. Imo Lowe Landis, formerly of York, widow of Martin Landis, died Sunday at 8:35 a.m., at Quincy United Methodist Home. She was 86. Mrs.

Landis was a daughter of the late Ammon D. and Mary Jane Harrison Lowe. Surviving are: A son, Lt. Col. C.

M. Landis, White Sands, N.M., Missile Range; three grandchildren and two brothers, Harry Lowe, Pylesville RD 1, and Ross Lowe, Hanover. The Rev. Wendell Gross, pastor of Beltsville Baptist Church, will officiate at funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Kenneth W.

Johnson Chase, 55, wife of Francis Chase, of 143 E. Maple died at 1 p.m. Saturday at her home. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Obie Johnson and a member of Queen Esther Temple 105 of IBPOE of vice president of the Civil Liberties Fez Club of the Queen Esther Temple, past daughter rule of Keystone Council of the Central District and a member of American Legion Post 794. Auxiliary and president of the 500 Club of Crispus Attucks Association. Surviving besides her husband are three brothers, Charles Johnson of Columbia and Morris and Richard Johnson of York; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Powell, Miss Alice Johnson and Miss Delores Johnson, all of York.
