West continued with the ten and thl* time East had to play his queen. South also allowed this to hold and East found that he was in the lead with no spades left in his hand. He led the jack of diamonds. South won with the ace, led a low heart and played the eight from dummy. East was in with the jack and still had no spade to lead. This gave South time to knock out th« ace of clubs also and make his contract. How did West help declarer? He could havt led his king of spades at trick two. This would have kept him In the lead and allowed him to clear the spade suit by himself while he itlll held the ace of clubs. 1:00 Llberace 1:30 The Shield 2:00 Your Day In Court 2:30 Music Bingo 3:00 Beat Tne Clock 3:30 Who Do Vou Trust? 4:00 American iBandsUnd 8:30 Adventure Tim« 6:00 All Aboard For Fun 6:30 Leave It To Beav«r 7:00 Zorro 7:30 Real McCoyi 8:00 Pat Boon* Show 8:30 Rough Rlden 9 :00 Ten-4! 9:30 Mike Hammer 10:00 Night Court 10:30 Tickets to B'way 12:00 Nightc-p New* TALMADGE J.
