Thursday Morning, October 28, 1971 The York Daily Record, area deaths Francis W. Klinedinst NEW FREEDOM Francis W. Klinedinst, 84, of 52 S. Constitution a former Hanover resident, died Tuesday at 11 p.m. at York Hospital.

Husband of the late Mrs. Delia Geiman Klinedinst, he had resided for the past 38 years with a son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Weaver.

A retired parts manager of Warner and Wertz, Mr. Klinedinst was a native of Hanover and a son of the late William M. and Mary Baker Klinedinst. Mr. Klinedinst belonged to the Lutheran Congregation at St.

David's (Sherman's) Union Church, Hanover RD 2, and was a member of Hanover Moose Lodge and the Patriotic Order Sons of America. Surviving, besides Mrs. Weaver, are another daughter, Mrs. Treva V. Utz, Hampstead, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a brother, Paul J.

Klinedinst, Hanover RD 2. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary. Burial will be in St. David's Cemetery.

William C. Holloman Sr. LISBURN William C. Holloman 59, husband of Mrs. Willie Kate Holloman, Etters RD 1, near Lisburn, died Tuesday evening at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Mr. Holloman was employed as an assistant foreman at Regal Products, Camp Hill. He was a member of the NCO Club at New Cumberland Army Depot. Surviving also are: Two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Arthur L.

Shaffer II, New Cumberland RD Gloria Bobby J. and William C. Holloman all at home; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. E. A.

Parker, Providence, three brothers, Bernie Simpson, state of Indiana; T. R. Simpson, Florida, and Lewis Simpson, Illinois. Rev. Bruce C.

Hockenberry, pastor of Fairview Bethel Church of God, will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Gilbert W. Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge New Cumberland. Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. Melvin E.

Bull Melvin E. Bull, 67, formerly of Upperco, died yesterday, in a Pikesville, Md. hospital. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lyle Belt, with whom he lived at Hampstead, Mrs.

Thomas Corbin, Cockeysville, and Mrs. Harry Trone, New Oxford, two sons, Edgar Bull. Parkton, and Norbert Bull, Westminster, 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Wisner, Upperco, and Mrs. Ethel Craig, York, and a brother, Upton Bull, Lineboro, Md.

Rev. Reginald Cecil, pastor of Grace United Church, Upperco, will officiate at funeral services at Eline Funeral home, Hampstead Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery, Parkton, Md. Amos G.

Hitz MT. WOLF Amos G. Hitz, 79, of 241 Dewey husband of the late Mrs. Stella M. Ober Hitz, was dead on arrival Wednesday at 1:15 p.m.

Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York. Dr. John J. McLaughlin, chief deputy county coroner, attributed death to a heart condition. A native of Lancaster County, Mr.

Hitz was a son of the late David and Lizzie Gantz Hitz. He moved to York County in 1944 and was a former farmer. At the time he was stricken, he was a carpenter with Glenn Loucks Contractor, Mt. Wolf RD 1. He belonged to the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren and was a member of Yorktowne Social Club of York.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. A. Elizabeth McAfee, 323 N. George York; Elmer E. Hitz, Elizabethtown RD Mrs.

Mary Hartman, Mt. Wolf RD Mrs. Florence Shank, Marietta; George Richard Hitz, 13 S. Main Manchester; Jay M. Hitz, 241 Dewey with whom he resided; 34 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two step brothers, Lester Hitz, Elizabethtown, and Victor Hitz, Donegal Springs.

Rev. Roland E. Garvin, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Manchester, will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Little Funeral Home, 60 S.

Main Manchester. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, near Dover. Mrs. Steven H. Bortner Mrs.

P. Delores Lloyd Bortner, 53, wife of Steven H. Bortner, died Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at her home, York RD 12. Surviving also are a son, Samuel L.

Bortner, at home, and a brother, James R. Lloyd, Dover RD 4. She was an employe of Shiny Brite products, Emigsville. Rev. B.

A. Harris, of United Brethren in Chrsit Church, Strinestown, will officiate at funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the Sleeger Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery.

Anna Marie Groff Anna Marie Groff, 18-month-old daughter of Staff Sgt. and Mrs. William M. Groff, of Yum, W. Germany, died there Oct.

25. Besides her father and mother, the former Jill Richards of Colorado City, the infant is survived by her maternal grand- Wilbert J. Everhart dies at 76; ex-master of two markets in York Wilbert J. Everhart, 245 Baltimore Hanover, former market master of two York markets, died Tuesday at 7:35 p.m. at the Golden Age Nursing Home, Hanover.

He was the husband of Mrs. Hilda Kirschner Everhart, and was 76. Mr. Everhart was born at Emigsville, a son of the late Charles H. and Annie K.

Miller Everhart. He was an Army veteran of World War having served in France. He had served as market master at the former City Market, Duke and Princess and the original Eastern Market when it was located in the basement of the skating rink on East Market street. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hanover, and formerly was actively identified with Boy Scout Troop 19, St.

Paul's Lutheran Church, York. He had resided in York. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Richards, 1515 Watson Colorado City; her paternal grandmother, Mrs.

Valerie Groff, 1600 First Elmwood; her paternal great John Groff, Elizabethtown, and her maternal great -grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Richards, Tyler, Tex. Funeral services will be held at the Kiker-Raims-Seale Funeral Home, Colorado City, with burial in Colorado City. Other arrangements were imcomplete. Earl A.

Hain Sr. NEW CUMBERLAND Earl A. Hain 63, husband of Mrs. Elizabeth J. Hain, New Cumberland RD 1, died Tuesday morning at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Hain was division manager for Henkels and McCoy and belonged to West Shore Baptist Church and was a member of Pottstown Lodge 680, Loyal Order of the Moose; Hopewell Fire Company, Newburg, and the Harrisburg Builders Exchange. Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Arlene H. Bowman, Mechanicsburg; Mrs.

Sandra J. Achenbach, Lemoyne; Mrs. Marilyn K. Gettys, New Cumberland RD two sons, Earl A. Hain at home; Richard Hain, Mt.

Holly Springs; 14 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Miller, Baltimore, Mrs. Grace Berry, Manchester, Mrs. Lillian Lash and Mrs. Dorothy Wagner, both of Lewistown and a brother, Paul R.

Hain, Harrisburg. His pastor, Rev. Richard L. Parker, will officiate at funeral services at West Shore Baptist Church, 21st and Market Camp Hill. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.

Irvine, 320 Skyview Drive, said he is running for the board partly "for selfish reasons I have five children in the district on all levels, and will have children in the district for another 10 He said he feels that the noise problem at North Hills Elementary School could be solved by sound conditioning. He said the board might be faced with busing for racial balance, but said he was not in favor of busing across district lines. Donald R. Clark, another Republican candidate, ran for school board four years ago and for tax collector in the last election, but was defeated at both.

He said he expects better luck this time, as "the competition isn't so stiff." He said he would favor building onto the old Central High School rather than building a new school, and said the board was considering building an elementary school near the Country Club Estates, but said "the sewer problem out there will probably have a strong bearing on that decision." He said he approves of the board's suit on tax assessments, and would oppose any crossdistrict busing if that became an issue. Clark works in the quality and design division of AMP, Harrisburg, and lives at 281 Haybrook Drive. Norman Allison, 91, dies; headed real estate agency Norman E. Allison, 91, founder of the Norman E. Allison Real Estate and Indurance Agency, located 536 W.

Market died Wednesday at 10 a.m. at his home, 4 Hayden Heights Rd. Mr. Allison was the husband of C. Louisa Hess Allison, and was born in York, a son of the late Charles Edward and Anna Fossit Allison.

Mr: Allison founded his insurance and real estate agency in 1905 in York. He was also a teacher and principal in the York City Schools for 26 years, serving at the Garfield, Stevens and Princess Street schools. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where he served on the board of trustees for 59 years. He was the teacher of the Ladies Bible Class of the Sunday School for many years. He was a member and former treasurer and vice president of the York Board of Realtors, a member of Harmonia Lodge 1.0.0.F., A member of the Modern Woodmen of America, and many years ago was the unsuccessful Democratic candidate for city treasurer.

He was one of the original members of the York Housing Authority, and the York Redevelopment Authority. He was also a life member of the Royal Fire Company. Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Allison Wampler, 4 Hayden Heights and two FATHER IS A WINNER LAE, New Guinea (AP) Benny Gimbu wanted to commemmorate the birth of his son on the day he was voted in as a member of Lae Town Council.
