Miss Robinson is a 1970' graduate of Southwestern High School. . Mr. Beilsmith, a 1969 graduate of the same school, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Beilsmith of Brighton. The couple will be married Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton and a reception will be held immediately after the ceremony in St. Paul United Methodist Church social rooms in Brighton. No invitations are being mailed. FISCHER-SWEENEY The engagement of Miss Rita Lorene Sweeney to James W. Fischer is being announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George G. Sweeney of Oklahoma City, Okla. The bride-tq-be is a 1988 graduate of Alton High School and is employed it? the placement department at Olin Corp., East Alton. Her fiance 1 , also a 1968 graduate of Alton High, attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and Edwardsville and is presently serving in the Army Security Agency and is stationed in Boston, Mass. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Fischer of 1008 Diamond St., Alton. A summer wedding is being planned. HEIGERT-NEELY The engagement of Miss Linda Neely to William Heigert is being announced by her mother, Mrs. Billy Belt of Rte. 4, Carlinville. She is also the daughter of the late Paul J. Neely. Mr. Heigert is the son of Mrs. Mary Heigert of 603 Summers St., Carlinville. Miss Neely is a junior at Carlinville High School and Mr. Heigert is a 1970 graduate of the same school. HUFF-HARTLEY Mrs. Dorothy L. Hartley of Rte. 3, Jerseyville is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Jill, to Ronald R. Huff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Huff, also of Jerseyville. Miss. Hartley is also the daughter of the late Joseph M. Hartley Sr. Miss Hartley, a 1970 graduate of Jersey Community High School, is presently a student of Central Illinois School of Beauty Culture. Mr. Huff, a 1967 graduate of the same school, has served 31 months with the U.S. Army and' is now employed with Owens-Illinois. OLLER-BRIGHT Mrs. Robert Zakrzewicz of Carlinville is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Lynn Bright, to Tom Oiler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lindell Oiler also of Carlinville. Miss Bright and Mr. Oiler are both 1970 graduates of Carlinville High School. She is presently attending Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago. AUSTIN-THOMPSON Mrs. Ina M. Thompson of 609 N. Burke, Jerseyville, is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Rita Marie, to Cy L. Austin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett L. Austin Sr., of Rte. 1, Brighton. The bride-to-be is a senior at Jersey Community High School. Mr. Austin attends Alton High School and is employed by Chuck's Fina Service in Godfrey. NORTHW AY-SIMPSON Mr. and Mrs. James A. Simpson of 3420 Yost, Alton, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Judith Ann, to Spec. 4 Tedrick N. Northway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Northway Jr., of 619 Maurice St., Wood River. Miss Simpson, a 1969 graduate of Marquette High School, is employed by Alton Memorial Hospital. Prior to entering the service, her fiance, a 1967 graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School, was employed by McDonnell Douglas Corporation. He is now serving in Vietnam. A spring wedding is being planned. WILKINSON SIDENEK Danny Sidener of 2204 Krug Place is announcing the engagement of his daughter, Kendal Lynn, to Ronald D. Wilkinson. She is also the daughter of Mrs. Betty Sidener of 663 Whitelaw Ave., Wood River. Mr. Wilkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkinson of 246 W. 19th St., Alton, attended Marquette and Alton High Schools before entering the Air Force where lie served in the branch of Air Police. He is presently employed with Kelly Food Produce, Decatur as a district sales manager. A June wedding is being planned. MITCHELL-FOIT Mr. and Mrs. William R! Foit of Downers Grove, 111., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Nancy Joyce, to R. David Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Mitchell of 902 Robert Dr., Godfrey. Miss Foit is a June graduate from the University Of Illinois where she received her BS degree in Home Economics. She was president of the Home Economics Student Council, a member of Torch and Mortar Board university honoraries and Phi TJpsilon Omicron and Omicron Nu national Home Economic honoraries. Mr. Mitchell, also a June graduate of the University of Illinois, received his BS degree in Industrial Engineering after completing a co-operative training program with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corp. He was affiliated with Triangle fraternity and is a member of' the American Institute of Industrial Engineers. He is employed by Allis-Chalmers in their management development program in Milwaukee, Wis. An August 28 wedding is planned. MCLAUGHLIN-HOLMES The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Miss Linda. Blair Holmes, to Timothy Richard McLaughlin is being announced by her parents, Mrs. Ralph F. Munyan and Carmi Holmes of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.- James R. McLaughlin of Ladue, Mo. Miss Holmes is a graduate of Hillsdale School and Briarcliff College. Mr. McLaughlin is a graduate of St. Louis .University High School and Georgetown University, Washington, D. C. He will graduate in June from Harvard Graduate School of business administration. A late summer wedding is being planned. MISS SIDENER WISEMAN-TATMAN The engagement of Miss Pegeen Tatman, to Franklin Wiseman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wiseman of 717' E. Broadway, Alton, is being announced. The bride-to-be is a 1970 graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School. Her fiance, a 1965 graduate of Whitesboro, N. Y. High School, is also a graduate of National Barber College in Springfield. He has completed four years with the Navy and is employed by the Burlington Raih'oad. A spring wedding is planned. Mr. Goode is a student at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville and is employed by J. C. Penney in East Alton. Both are graduates of East Alt on-Wood River High School. ! The bride-elect, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lyon of Astoria, Ore., is a graduate of Knappa High School and Brown Business College in Astoria. She is presently employed at Oregon State University, Corvallis. Mr. Brazier, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Brazier of 211 Grand Ave., East Alton, is a graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School. He was graduated in 1970 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a degree in forestry. He is working toward his master's degree in management at Oregon State University.
