Add vaSaia Gradually blend in floor and baking powder. Fold in stiffly beaten egg wtntes Bate In three eight-inch or two nine- or ten-inch layer cake pans for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Filling 2 c scalded milk 1 c. sugar 3 Tbsp core starch 4 egg yolks Blend niflk. sugar and corn starch Gradually add to egg yolks. Add flour and baking powder to creamed mixture. Beat well. Foid in stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven in three layers. Coconut or pwrans sprinkled on filling adds greatly to taste. Mix sugar, egg and margarine. 2. Add flour, soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg, (batter will be very stiff) 3. Add apples and mix well. Bake at 350 for t hour, cool well before frosting. Soften cream cheese and margarine, cream together and add flavoring; slowly add powdered sugar and milk to mix to spreading consistency. Spread on cake.
