DRUGS ' AAUW to hear malpractice panel The public Is Invited to a panel discussion dealing with the medical malpractice Insurance situation Monday night when the Brazosport Branch of the American Association of University Women meets. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Salon in the Braiosport Savings and Loan Association building in downtown Lake Jackson. The program topic is "Insurance Claims, Fees, and the Patient." Panelists will be Dr. J A, Stewart of Easy Shlrtdress! Printed Pattern Lake Jnckson, Mike Van Zele of Houston, a supervisor for Aetna Casualty Co, and Clay Llllenstern, a Houston attorney. The three will be allowed time to present their viewpoints and then there will be a oucsUon and answer period. Dr. Stewart has practiced medicine In Lake Jackson since 1947 and has been a leader in the state in efforts to get legislation passed to halt (he skyrocketing premium costs for the professional liability Insurance available to Texas physicians Ho has served tut a member of the Texas Medical Association's Insurance committee and has made numerous trip* to Austin to lestlfy before committees and otherwise plead the doctors' C*M>, Van Zcle Is In the marketing department of his Insurance firm.
