THE CHILLIWACK PROGRESS WEEKEND, July 1B, 2004 31 ' Weekend Scoreboard WEEKEND TICKET Junior football The Valley Huskers (0-1) continue the B.C Football Conference regular season against the Abbotsford Air Force (1-0) Saturday at 7 p.m. at Exhibition Field at The Landing. Golf The Barton Insurance Brokers Chilliwack Open Golf Tournament will be held this weekend at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club. Players begin teeing-off at 6:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The top players after the first round will hit the course by 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and should finish around 7 p.m. Junior Golf The Optimist Club Fred Wellsby Junior Divot Golf Tournament continues today at Cheam Golf Course. Tee-off is at 1 p.m. Women's fastball CSA Women's Division playoffs continue Tuesday at Townsend Park. Young Guns and Lightning Sports Jazz will play game two of their Best of 3 championships series at 7 p.m. Let the games begin Athletes will be striving for excellence when the B.C. Summer Games are held in Abbotsford this weekend. Competition yesterday, and wraps up Sunday for more than 2,400 athletes in 25 sports. Barrel racing There will be ladies barrel racing this weekend at Chilliwack Heritage Park. Action gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Go kart racing Coastal Kart Racers will host racing at the CARTBC track behind Major League I this weekend. Racing will take place Saturday and Sunday. Minor baseball Chilliwack Storm play a Lower Mainland Baseball League 18-plus division game against Surrey Rangers Sunday at 11 am. at Fairfield Island Park.
