Seeing he had money left, he called him out and showing him a large gold looking watch, asked for a loan of $30 on U till he reached Sparta, where he was going. In a few moments he discovered the mice, and instead of going to Sparta by .the first train, started with a policeman after tbe watch staff- er, who has not yet been found.
