LONNIE DAVIS Pastor Evangelistic Tabernacl* Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon ye. Acts 1-8. The Disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit in the upper room, and afterward they were empowered progressively as they by faith moved and lived and had their being in Christ. They were filled in solitude, but were empowered as they walked in society meeting the claims of life. Surely there is a great demand on the Christian today to be empowered to meet the need of the hour today. It's time for us to arise and come forth in the resurrected Christ. The world that is before us is ours if we will only arise and possess it. Men are trying to take it by their carnal minds. But we ; the Christians, can loose the minds of men by being endowed with the power of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. So therefore let us arise and meet our God, who is the source of all life and power, who will enable us, the Church, to meet the cry for help today.
