On Sunday, the DeValois took Wencly back to Cedar Falls and visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lybn. . Mr. and Mr>. Tad Herbst and children went to Rhinelandef; Wis., last week to visit Mrs. Herbst's parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. B. Lafcy at their cottage. Mr. Herbst and Mr. Lacy spent some time fishing at Kenora, Canada Or. and Mn. Kevin Na»h and daughters Connie, Mary and Martha drove to Jeffersdn, la,, last week Saturday-,to attend the wedding of ,Dr. Nash's tiiece,. Among the out-of-town relatives here for the funeral of Mrs. Ethel Chubb were Mr., and Mrs. Jl. J. Laird and ttieir daughter, Mrs. Witiianv Garten, Clair Laird and Mr. and .Mrs. Thetfdore Aulman, -all of Des Moines, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Dowel and daughters Barbara and Shirley/ Baraboo, Wis;, and Mrs. Ray Laird and son Ray of Sioux Falls, S. D. , Mr. and Mrs. Jim Geelan are spending the July 4th weekend at Chalstrdffl Scftch on Okoboji. their guests ate Mrs. Geelah'9 brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James Miller and family of Griindy Center. Mr, and Mrs. Matt Strait spent last weekend at the Milton Coo* nan cottage on Okoboji where members of the Coonan family had a reunion. Miss Josine Coonan of Minneapolis accompanied the Streits back to Algona Where she remained as their .guest for several days. ; Mrs. Inet Wolfe returned last Sunday 'from Visiting her two daughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mr*. Bourne .attended the American .Medical Association convention in Chicago last week. They stayed at the Palmer House while there. Mr. and Mrs. Garland Bradley have just returned from a week's stay in Denver, Colo. While they were there their daughter Vera, Mrs..Jim Drone, was hospitalized with a blood clot. She is doing well but remains in St. Anthony's hospital, Denver. Her room number is 233.
