tHUKISAY, JUNfe 36,1»M ALOONA; (!**•) ADVANCI-S Kathryri Bay weds Kathryn Bay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Bay, and Robert Percival, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Percival, all Algona, were married June 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran church. The Rev. Robert F. Lorenz officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride wore her mother's wedding drp*s of ant.ir-• white and a floor length mantilla brought from Spain by ner sister Sally Bay. Maid of honor was Sally Bay and bridesmaid was another sister, Mrs. Herbert Bryant, Jacksonville, Fla. Best man was William Bourne, Algona, and the groomsman was Herbert Bryant, Jacksonville, Fla. Usher was Samuel Nicholson, Durham, N. C. Soloist was Corrine Shimel and organist was Mrs. Vernon Jensen. A reception was held at the Algona Country club following the ceremony. Barbara Percival had the guest book. The Frederick Kuehls, Millard, Neb., served punch and Mrs. Fred Vitt, Boone, poured coffee. Serving ice cream was Mrs, *r I I I I Photo by Poundstone. Kenneth Percival, Spirit Lake. Cutting the bride's cake was Mrs. Herman Karloff, and the groom's cake was Linda Percival. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Robinson. Out of town guests came from Royal, Spirit Lake, Boone, Ames Iowa Falls, Omaha, Millard Neb., Kansas City, Mo., Elko Nev., and Norwood, Mo. She is a graduate of the state university at Iowa City and was a member of Kappa Alpha The ta sorority. He is a graduate o the U. S. naval academy at An apolis, Md., and is a membe of the Alpha Lambda Delta hon orary fraternity. They will be at Philadelphia for 13 weeks while Ensign Per cival takes additional training a.nd then will be stationed a Newport,' R? I. * s ''.
