DRILL TEAM HONORS The drill team of York Forest 30, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, captured second place honors last weekend in District 11 competition at Trenton, N.J.

OBSERVES BIRTHDAY James C. Curry, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Curry, York RD 8, recently celebrated his 20th birthday aboard the USS McMorris, homeported at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

A 1971 graduate of York County Vocational-Technical School, Curry enlisted in the Navy Sept. 23, 1971. The USS McMorris, a destroyer escort, will depart for a cruise in the Western Pacific at the end of this month. BRENDA MAE BAILEY Mr. and Mrs.
