Alexandria Times-Tribune Wednesday, Aagust 2, 1S78 PAGE I Town 4- if yi 6 1 W- Bonnie and Sheri Heath, instructors at Bonnie's School of Dance and Gymnastics, have both received teachers certificates for completing a dance and gymnastic course in Las Vegas, Nevada and Cincinnati, Ohio. They learned new techniques and spotting in gymnastics and a new type disco jazz along with tap and ballet. Sheri performed a floor exercise in a talent showcase in the Space Center of the Sahara Hotel. She received a plaque for an outstanding act Samantha Bowyer, Tina Comer, Lora Hughes and Angela Horner, local students, attended the Dance Olympics in Cincinnati, Ohio, with their instructors. -Vs.

The Anderson College TRI-S August Choir, will present A Concert of Sacred Music and Song at the Church of God next Sunday evening at 7 p.m. They will be leaving soon to present concerts in churches in Red Cross The Madison County Red Cross will Sponsor an Advanced Lifesaving class for the general public.

The course will be held at the Athletic Pool from July 31 to August 16 on sponsors advanced lif esaving class Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. To enroll in Advance Lifesaving a candidate must be 15 years old and be able to FAMILY REUNION The Semon family will be having their reunion August 6th, 12:30 p.m. at the Callaway Park in Elwood. ROBERT TANKERSLEY Marine Lance Corporal Robert J. Tankersley, son of William C. and Nola R. Tankersley of 1110 S. Randolph Alexandria, has reported for duty with 2nd Force Service Support Group, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He joined the Marine Corps in January 1976. ROBERTJONES Navy Machinist's Mate First Class Robert S. Jones, son of Ralph and Mary R. Jones of 1306 S. Fulton Alexandria, recently visited Pusan, South Koiea.

He is assigned to the frigate USS Albert David, homeported in Long Beach, and operating as a unit of the U.S. Seventh Fleet. This vessel's Pusan port visit was part of the Seventh Fleet's mission of presenting goodwill in the Western Pacific area. Albert David's remaining schedule includes participation in training exercises with other Seventh Fleet units and those of allied nations. Port visits are scheduled in several other Far Eastern countries.

A 415-foot-long, frigate, Albert David is equipped with guns, missiles and rockets and can operate independently or as part of a naval task force. A 1969 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School, Jones joined the Navy in July 1969. LIBRARY RECEIVES DONATION The Anderson Baha'i Group donated four books on the Baha'i religion to the Alexandria Public Library on July 19th. The presentation was made by Rowena LaRue and. Dr.

Vicki Taylor to head librarian Elverda Songer. Three paperback books for adults and one illustrated volume for children were included in the donation. The Baha'is are a worldwide organization with national headquarters in Wilmette. Ill and international headquarters in Haifa. Israel.

Lucille impressed the judges with her ideas when she answered her question of "how to handle the spectators who may have bad manners."
