Store, Theater Hit by Burglars Statesman News Service MILL CITY, Dec. 7-A grocery store and theater were burglarized here early this morning and $45 in cash, 115 cartons of cigarettes, camera, alarm clock and a can of tobacco were taken in the two thefts, Marion County sheriff's office and state police reported. Entrance was gained to the Stewart's Grocery store by breaking a lock on the door. Police said all the loot was taken from the store except $15 in cash from a change-making machine in the Mill City Theater. Entrance was gained to the theater through an air vent, police said.

Sugar Added to Car's Gas Tank Maude T. Byrne, 1565 3rd St. NW, told police Saturday that someone put sugar in her car's gasoline tank late Friday or early Saturday. She said that it probably took place in a parking lot in the 2300 block of Fairgrounds Road NE or at Hillerest School, where she is employed. Police said damage was minor.

Salem Man Treated After Car Crash A Salem man was treated for minor injuries received in a twocar accident in the 1800 block of 12th St. SE about 9:15 a.m. Saturday, city police reported. Driver of one car, Benjamin A. Bello, 960 Downs St.
