I reply that one advantage is significant: the savings. All honorably discharged veterans of the US Armed Forces arc entitled to a grave for themselves, their spouses, and minor children. These graves are double in depth or triple in depth for a minor child. A grave marker is provided, as well as a grave liner.

In addition, you pay no fees for the opening and closing of the grave, or for setting the marker in place. Nor do you contribute to an endowment account that is normally required to fund the upkeep of the site. If you select cremation, you can choose between ground burial and interment in the columbarium which is a structure thai keeps cremated remains such as those in an um.
