Hartley died at 7:50 p.m. Friday at York Hospital. He was a son of Mrs. Beulah Patterson Attig, 253 S. Pleasant Dallastown, and the late John Attig.

Mr. Attig was employed by Miller's Motor Freight, Inc. He was a veteran of the European Theater during World War II and was a member of Prince AA, South End Democratic Club and Teamsters Local 430. Surviving, also, are four children, Francis E. Attig Fort Dodge, Iowa; Gary L.

Attig, 745 Noonan Road; Mrs. Susan M. Smyser, 1730 Church Road and Mrs. Judy M. Burkholder, 121 Farm View Drive; 12 grandchildren; four brothers, W.

Edgar Attig, 257 S. Pleasant Dallastown; John E. Attig, 457 Prospect James E. Attig, 253 S. Pleasant Dallastown, and Charles E.

David R. Wolfe, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Chas. E.

Jacoby HANOVER Marcellus J. Jacoby, 59, husband of Mrs. Bernadette Neiderer Jacoby, Hanover RD 4, died Friday at 6:55 a.m. at Hanover General Hospital. A son of Mrs.

Mary Gebhart Jacoby. Hanover RD 4, and the late Harry W. Jacoby, who died in 1967, he was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Basilica, Edge Grove. Also surviving are eight children, Joseph L. Jacoby, Hanover RD4; Kenneth L.

Jacoby, Mt. Wolf RD Mrs. Betty Ann Claybaugh, Gettysburg RD Mrs. Janet L. Hahn, 234'2 South Mrs.

Teresa E. Lippy, Littlestown RD Mrs. Linda M. Bassler, 31212 Third and Martin W. and Kay M.

Jacoby, both at home, 22 grandchildren and four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ann Shanbrook, Gettysburg RD Mrs. Ilene Robertson and Richard Jacoby, both of Hanover RD 4, and Rodger Jacoby, MeSherrystown. Funeral services will be conducted this morning at 8:30 with prayers at the Hicks Funeral Home, McSherrystown, followed by a mass of resurrection at Sacred Heart Basilica. Rt.

Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. McGough, pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

George Davis DELTA George Davis, 68. husband of Mrs. Esther L. Davis, died Sunday at 1:30 a.m. at his home, Delta RD 2, near Delta.

Mr. Davis, who had resided in the Delta area the past four years, was a former resident of Dundalk. Md. He was a retired employe of Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, Md. Mr.

Davis was a member of- Bryansville United Methodist Church. Surviving also are: 12 children, Mrs. Nellie Shaffer, Camden, N.J.: John and George Davis both of Florida: Charles Davis, Massachusetts; Mrs. Marie Wildermouth and James Davis, both of Salem, N.J.: Mrs. Mary Grasso, Baltimore; Mrs.

Catherine Hogate, Dover, Mrs. Helen Palmer, El Paso, Texas: Claudette and Jonathan W. Davis, both at home, and Joseph Davis, Swedesboro, N.J.: 26 grandchildren and two half brothers and two half sisters, The Rev. Ritchie F. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Dorsey, Md. Mrs. Gladys L. McGready DALLASTOWN Mrs. Gladys L.

Sichelstiel McGready, 60, of 207 W. Chestnut died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richard C. Izer, 129 W. Main St.

She had been under the care of a physician. Mrs. McGready, a former professional singer, had been employed as an assistance technician in the York office of Department of Public Welfare for five years. She was a former director of Surplus Foods for York County and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Dallastown, and National Assn of retired Persons.

Surviving also are three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Christ Church with the pastor, The Rev. David R. Barnhart, and Vicar Millard A.

Rexrode, officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Christ Lutheran Church. Sherman W. Smyser Sherman W.

Smyser, 87, husband of Mrs. Sarah Joseph Smyser, of 4065 W. Market died Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at his home. He was born in York County, a son of the late Francis and Ida Baer Smyser.

He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, York RD 6, and vice president of Spring Grove National Bank. Also surviving are, a son, Francis J. Smyser, Montgomery, two daughters, Mrs. Grace Quickel, York, and Mrs.

Margaret Julius, Harrisburg: four grandchildren; one great -grandchild; and a brother, Clarence H. Smyser, York. The Rev. William Sowers, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate at the funeral Wednesday at 2 p.m.

at the church. Burial will be in Wolf's Union Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund Mundis Infant William Jason Mundis, 2 day old son of Daniel Sr. and Deborah Everhart Mundis, 377 W.

Philadelphia died at 1:15 p.m. Friday at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital. Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Kenneth D. and Daniel L. Mundis both at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs.

Wilbur J. Henry 82, husband of Mrs. Goldie E. Arnsberger Henry, of 825 Locust Grove Road. died Friday at 6:40 p.m.

at York Hospital. Mr. Henry was self -employed and attended Central Market for many years. He was a member of Yorkshire United Methodist Church. Surviving also are: Six sons.

Myrtle M. Bicking RED LION Mrs. Myrtle Marie Bicking, 71, of 274 N. Main wife of the late M. Hyson Bicking, died Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York. A daughter of the late Albert F. and Martha Campbell Fitz, Mrs. Bicking, belonged to St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Sunday School.

Surviving are three brothers, Henry I. Fitz, Denver, Clair F. Fitz, Lancaster, and Robert E. Fitz, New Holland. The Rev.

M. 0. Mickley, assistant pastor of St. Paul's UM Church, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the F.

Mrs. Doris Doellinger RED LION Mrs. Doris Loretta Doellinger, 621 S. Main widow of Lorenzo Doellinger, died Saturday at 1:22 p.m. at York Hospital.

She was 50. Mrs. Doellinger was a daughter of the late Reuben and Idlla Hamme Neuman. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, York. Surviving are a son, Richard Doellinger, Red Lion RD: three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.

Wilson Sprenkle, 621 S. Main and Mrs. Louise Schnetzka, York; three brothers, George H. Neuman, Druck Valley Road, York; Robert Neuman, Yoe, and Kenneth Neuman, Phoenix, Ariz. The Rev.

Ilartlaub McSHERRYSTOWN Mrs. Mary E. Marshall Hartlaub, 83, formerly of 148 Second who has 122 living descendents, died Sunday at 11:45 a.m. at Cross Keys Brethren Home, where she resided the past 19 months. Her husband, Harry A Hartlaub, died in June 1971.

A native of Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Henry B. and Laura Golden Marshall, and belonged to Annunciation Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and of its National Council of Catholic Women. Surviving are: 12. children, Joseph A. Hartlaub, 214 North Mrs.

88. husband of Mrs. Mary Eleanor Schriver Werner, 100 Hanover died Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at York Hospital, where he was a patient one week. A life-long Glen Rock area resident, he was a son of the late Henry and Juliann Bortner Werner, and belonged to the Lutheran Congregation of St.

Jacob's (Stone) Union Church. He had retired in 1958 after being employed for 40 years by Read Machinery Co. of Glen Rock, now Teledyne Readco, at York. He had treaveled extensively serving as installation and construction field supervisor for the firm's bakery division. His memberships included Glen Rock Lodge 287, Knights of Pythias, and the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Co.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are nieces and nephews. His pastor, The Rev. Richard C. Weaver, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St.
