Chicago, May 22. A man giving the name of Strong presented himself yesterday at the Canadian Bank of Commerce, of this city, and produced a letter of credit for $10,000. This letter purported to be issued by the National bank of Scotland, and on it he desired to draw $7,000. To all appearances the letter was good, and the money was paid him. The document, however, was not genuine.
