Have you made that commitment yourself? If not turn to Christ and then encourage them to trust him as well He loves them and the greatest discovery they could make is to find the joy and hope there is in Christ IN MEMORIAM My Wife Mother and Grandmother Adell Gaines Who Raised Away A Year Ago May 14 1983 Gone but not forgotten Husband Daughters Son and Grandchildren Precious Memories Of Little Torn Peres Donaldson Twelve years ago on this day the Lord took you Home He needed someone special to brighten up His thrune So stay there and wait for us my child be together after awhile Mom Alice and Dad Earnest Sisters Tina and Miranda Brothers Bernard and Prentice Mrs Myrtle Lanier TOCCOA Ga Mrs Myrtie Agnes Cheek Lanier 81 of Route 1 Colbert formerly of TOccoa widow of Will Lanier died Sunday at St Hospital Born in Stephens County she was the daughter of the late Dave and Ada Roberts Cheek She was a member of Mullins Ford Baptist Church Surviving are sons Joe Lanier of Hartwell Thomas Lanier of Phenix City Ala Charlie Lanier of Toccoa Tillman Lanier of Eastanollee daughter Mrs Julian (Grace) Davis of Colbert sisters Mrs Phil (Onto) Bennett of Eastanollee Mrs Ola Sloan of Toccoa brothers Rufford and Clarence Cheek of Toccoa eight grandchildren 11 greatgrandchildren Services at 4 pm Tuesday at Mullins Ford Baptist Church by the Revs James Morgan and James Whitlock Burial in the church cemetery The body is at Acree-Davis Funeral Home where the family will receive Mends from 3-5 pm and from 7-9 pm Monday The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 pm Tuesday The family is at the home of Tillman Lanier in Liberty Hill community Mrs Mary Lou Vaughn LAVONIA Ga Mrs Mary Lou Kesler Vaughn 77 of Asheville NC widow of Howard Vaughn died Sunday in a local nursing home in Asheville Bum in Franklin County she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Belle Whitfield Kesler She was a retired nurse Surviving are sister Lilia Mae Burnette of Biltmore NC several nieces and nephews Services at 2 pm Tuesday at Weldon Funeral Home Chapel Burial in Falrview Methodist Church Cemetery Weldon Funeral Home in charge of arrangement Mrs Pearl Harper HARTWELL Ga -Mrs Pearl Harper 84 of 102 Carter St widow of Noah Lee Harper died Sunday at Hart County Hosptial Arrangements will be announced by McDougald Funeral Home Bdly Graham Dear Dr Graham: My parents are getting older and 1 am concerned about what is happening to my father He is getting very forgetful and at times his personality seems so much different than it used to be He is the kind who has never been sick and like to see a doctor What sort of responsibility do you think I have to help him somehow? BN Dear BN For the sake of your father you need to do everything you possibly can to get him the medical evaluation and treatment he needs Some people just assume that nothing can be done in such a situation but only a doctor can really decide what the problem may be and what can be done to help your father Doctors have told me there can be many different causes for such symptoms many of which can be treated by modern medicines I know It may not be easy to persuade him to see a doctor but if you love him you want what is best for him even if it is not easy in the short term You also need to do this for the sake of your mother difficult for her I am sure especially if she Is finding that she cannot do all the things Building Permits Robert A Broome new Creekwood Subdivision 6 rooms
