Sentinel Sunday, July 28, 1996 C-7 Celebrations M. Pierson-Silvey Megan Lynn Pierson and Randy Silvey exchanged their wedding vows May 4 at Felton Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Doug Crocker officiated. Amber Henson was the maid of honor.

The bridesmaids were Sandra Rowe, Tracy Westerfield, Jennifer. Taylor and Stephanie Groom. The groom's brother, Garry Silvey, was the best man. The groomsmen were Paul Courthyn, Don MfiNair, Thomas Bartlett and the groom's cousin, Jeff Fleshute. The groom's nieces, Rachel and Monique Morrisette, were flower girjs and the groom's nephew, Tony Morrisette, was the candlelighter.

A buffet lunch and reception was held at the Elks Lodge. Special guests attending included the bride's grandmothers, Mildred Stevens from Aloha, Ore. and Elna Pierson from Lacey, Don MeNair from Minnesota; the grdom's brother, Garry Silvey from Noyth Carolina; the bride's father, Richard Pierson from Olympia, and the bride's brothers, and Steve Pierson from Yelm, Wash. The bride's gown was made by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Stevens. It was sent in sections to the bride's mother to bead, and it was then assembled here by her grandmother.

Megan is the daughter of Barbara aria Jim Burke of Ben Lomond and Manning-Kondylis Nathalie Randall Kondylis and Ryan Edward Manning were married May 26 at First Congregational Church of Martinez. The Rev. Wil--liam F. Dopp officiated. The bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Eileen Manning, Robin Plutchok, Mara Welsh, Patty Hayes, Kelly Gregor, Cynthia Hansen and Diana Ehrlich.

Michael Manning, brother of the groom, was best man. The groomsmen were the groom's brother, Richard Manning; the bride's brother, Alex Kondylis; Todd Allen; Miguel Cordoba; Sherman Griffin and Steve Guluzian. The bride's cousins, Emily Rogers and Marci Ramirez, were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. A buffet dinner reception for 230 guests was held at the Pleasant Hill Community Center. Special guests attending included the bride's grandfather, Ted Fox from Vallejo; the groom's grandparents, Dorothy and Keith Emmert from Fresno and the groom's grandmother, Ida Marie Manning of Santa Cruz.

Nathalie is the daughter of Gabriel and Barbara Kondylis of Vallejo. She graduated from Vallejo Senior High School in 1988, from UC San Diego in 1992 and from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1995, where she received a master's degree in public administration and was a member of the Sigma Kappa Owens-Montero Amanda Montero and Thomas Joseph Owens were married May 26 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Santa Cruz. The Rev. Joseph R. Kennedy, a longtime family friend and priest to the bride's family, officiated.

Kristin Morrison was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Allison Aiello, Lisa Felosky, Shannon Laurin and the bride's Jennyfer Montero. Flower girls were Taylor Gach, Nora Soza and the groom's niece, Katie Ardoin. Steve Lang was best man. The groomsmen were Chuck Gordon, Bruce Hull, Scott Haggblade and Jack Zahorsky.

The grooms' brothers, Jim and John Owens, served as ushers and Christopher Blando, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer. A dinner reception followed the ceremony in the Santa Cruz Ballroom at Chaminade in Santa Cruz. Amanda is the daughter of Laurel and Terry Joakimides of Scotts Valley and Charles Montero of Santa Clara. She is a graduate of Soquel High School, received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from San Diego State University and received a paralegal certificate from Santa Clara University. She is the office manager for Silicon Valley Law Group in downtown San Jose.

Tom is the son of James Owens of Pierre, S.D., and the late Kather- Megan and Randy Silvey Richard Pierson of Olympia. Wash. She is a 1991 graduate of San Lorenzo Valley High School and is a food clerk at Safeway in Aptos. Randy is the son of Fenten and Jane Silvey of Santa Cruz. He graduated in 1991 from Santa Cruz High School, attends Cabrillo College and is a food clerk at Safeway in Felton.

The couple honeymooned for a week in Antigua, West Indies. They reside in Ben Lomond. This announcement is being rerun because some information was inadvertently left out last week. Joseph and Linda Pickerill rist with Barb's Florist in Hainesville, HI. before her move to Aptos.

Joseph is the son of Ernest F. and Toni Pickerill of Santa Cruz. He graduated in 1958 from Santa Cruz High School, received an associate's degree from Los Angeles Community College and is a retired master chief petty officer from the US Navy and past president of the Aptos Lions Club. He is a senior production planner with Litton Solid State Microwave in Santa Clara. The newlyweds plan to honeymoon at a later date.

They reside in Aptos. Dayna and Erik Taylor Elaine Taylor, both of Scotts Valley. He graduated from Harbor High School in 1994 and from Feather River College in 1996. He is in the U.S. Army, currently sta-' tioned at Fort Lee, Virginia.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Southern California and are temporarily living in Virginia. i fcvff RSI 3 Sks fa Ryan and Nathalie Manning sorority. She is a budget analyst for King County, Wash. Ryan is the son of Edward and Patricia Manning of Aptos. He grad- uated from Aptos High School in -1988 and from UC San Diego in 1992, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and Order of '-Omega.

He is a commercial pilot: and flight instructor with Galvin; Flying Service in Seattle, and a reservation agent with United Airlines. The newlyweds honeymooned for -a week in the Virginia countryside. They live in Seattle, Wash. Craig Lewis and Christine Hult-Lewis ceived a bachelor's degree with honors. She is working toward her doctorate in American studies at Boston University in Boston, and currently doing dissertation re-" search in Berkeley.

Craig is the son of Michael Lewis and Zorine Lewis, both of Los Angeles. He graduated from Van Nuys High School in 1981 and from UC Berkeley in 1987, receiving a bachelor's degree in English literature. He is studying for his master's degree in business administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. The couple will take a two-week camping honeymoon along the Oregon coast this August. They live in Berkeley.

The Rev. Nancy Fenuik Nelson officiated. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her uncle, Donald Robertson.

The bride's sister, Susan Hult Hendricks, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Joyce Miller, Sherri Reeves, Valerie Sacks and Christine Strange. The groom's brother, Bradley Lewis, was best man. The groomsmen were Alex Ferber, John Haw-ley, Matthew Korot and the bride's brother-in-law, William Hendricks. The bride's goddaughter, Jamie Tomlinson, served as acolyte and the bride's aunt, Lorna Robertson, oversaw the guest book.

Readings were done by the Rev. Larry Morkert, Elizabeth Leuthner and Amy Benjamin, cousin of the groom. A dinner reception with dancing was held at Mount Cross Lutheran Camp in Felton. The camp was rented for the weekend with many guests camping over. A brunch was held Sunday for guests.

Special guests attending included the bride's grandmother, Myrtle Mandt of Issaquah, the groom's grandmother, Natalia Teofan of San Marcos; plus other family and friends from Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, Virginia, Kansas and Illinois. Christine is the daughter of Mary Ann Hult of Santa Cruz and the late Rev. Philip W. Hult. He is a graduate of Potomac Senior High School in Oxen Hill, and received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of South Dakota. He is a senior loan consultant with Norwest Mortgage in Saratoga. The couple honeymooned for 10 days on the West Indies island of St. Lucia and for four days in Key West, Fla. Dayna is the daughter of Larry and Debbie Wray of Livermore. She is a 1994 graduate of Livermore High School and attended Feather River College. Erik is the son of Eric Taylor and Manoff-Wilson Joanna Elizabeth Wilson and Todd Thomas James Manoff said their marriage vows May 25 at Santa Cruz Bible Church. Pastor Steve Clifford officiated. The ceremony was a casual, country western style affair.

The groomsmen wore black jeans and boots and the women wore simple old-fashioned lace. The bride wore the dress worn by her mother and sister, Kathy, and surprised all by singing a country love song to the groom, accompanied by Pastor Clifford. Julie Western was matron of honor and the bride's sister, Kathy Pappas, was a bridesmaid. George Olson was best man and the bride's brother, John Wilson, was a groomsman. The bride's nieces, Josie and Pau-li Anna Pappas and Elicia and Carrie Turner, served as flower girls.

Robby John Pappas, the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer. A dinner reception was held at the CPDES Hall in Santa Cruz. It featured a casual chicken barbecue including "Manoff chili.
