Carroll Counfry Club Activity Card Shows Numerous Events for Summer Season First of the Carroll Country club's social vents since the open- 'ing party is family night at the clubhouse at 6 o'clock Saturday evening. Memorial Day. Women's afternoon parties will begin wilh a bridge-luncheon June 11. The initial bridge-mixer will be held June 5. There will be three teen-agers' dances this summer, (he first one pet for June 13.

Rules governing thepp dances are announced by the officer? and committee. A charge of 35 cents per person will be made for each dance, which will be held from 8 to 11:30 The golf course and Pine room are off limits. Dancers are not to leave the. clubhouse during dances and expect to return. No drinking is to be permitted.

Anyone failing to comply with these rules will be restricted from attending the following dance. The club's complete activity card for the summer has been released by Mr. and Mrs. Archie Gietz and Mr. and Mrs.

Featuring the arrangemen was a miniature majorette dresse in an exact: duplicate of batoi twirler's blue and white uniform In the background were blue drum with silver drum sticks and crossed-batons tied with blue am silver ribbons. Grouped around the majorette were five graduales caps with miniature diplomas tied in blue. Each of the five girl names appeared on one of the diplo mas.

A spotlight which centered on the majorelle doll brought out th colors of silver and blue. blue candles were at the ends the buffet. Huge floor bouquets of brida wreath, lilacs and yellow rose banked the three pillars in the room. Mrs. Winnike Gives Coffee For Members Of School Faculty Mrs. Lambert Winnike enter-, tained the grade school teachers of the Carroll public schools and some of the high school teachers at a coffee in her home from 3 to 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon.

Mra. Winnike was assisted by her daughters, Mary and Kathy, in serving from a table decorated with a center bouquet of garden flowers. Two Guests at 8-4 Fun Club in Mrs. Coins' Home Mrs. Alonzo Walker and Mrs.

Harold Jensen were guests other than members when Mrs. Paul Golns entertained the S-4 Fun club at her home Thursday night. Pinochle was played and dessert and coffee were served after the games. Centerpieces of roses decorated the tables. Mrs.

Robert Cieazinskt was the winner of the high score prize and Mrs. C. D. Andrews, low. This was the club's last meeting until fall when Mrs.

Francis Wells will be the first hostess. Lake, Sac City, Breda, Glidden, Ralston and Red Oak, besides Carroll. The committee on arrangements consisted of Mrs. Warren Bohnenkamp, Mrs. William Schleisman Mrs.

John Carlin and Rosella Minnehan. Forty-Four Play Cards At a Party Of Rebekah Lodge, Forty-four persons played cards at a party sponsored by the Rebekah Lodge in the Odd Fellows hall Thursday night. Mrs. Bertha Hesslingh won the high score prize and Mrs. A.

C. Stuhr, low, at the pinochle tables. The high score canasta prize was won by L. B. McFee and low by Magnus Miller.

Mrs. Miller received the door prize. Lunch was served after the games. The hostess committee consisted of Mrs. Herschel Heath, Mrs.

Keith Eason, Mrs. Gilford Paxton and Miss Nene Barr. Mike Heidel, 6, Has Party on His Birthday Anniversary Mrs. Harold Heidel gave a birthday party at her home Thursday afternoon for her son, Mike, who was six years old. Guests were seven of his kindergarten classmates, Leanna Corderman, Joni Salsbury, Sally Brandt, Karla Gilbert, Skipper Bickett, Jay Mahan and Jim Kidwell.

Also in the group was Mike's sister, Susan Heidel. The children spent the afternoon playing games. Lunch was served at a long table decorated in a circus theme. The birthday cake represented the "big top" with animals underneath. At each place was a cup cake fashioned like a clown's head with neck ruffle and hat.

Each youngster 1 was given a metallic clown hat to wear, At the end of the party, each one received a gift which was found by following the string in a giant spide web. Mike received birthday gifts.
