Those who assisted la the program Verons Verona Leason Clyde Antoinette Vogd Xieien Helen Bilcy HIGH MARKINGS REWARDED WITH BEAUTIFUL MEDALS Yesterday was' a happy day a large number of pupils in the grammar schools of this city, for in the majority It was graduating day, the one on which they were presented a sheepskin certifying to their attention to school duties and proficiency in their studies. In each school where exercises were held the graduates were made still happier by the presence of parents and admiring friends, and not a few were made proud for having, on account of unusual merit, won the- Bridge medal for boys and the Denman medal for girls.

In the Spring Valley school a special medal, donated by Un George K. Frink, was given for exemplary conduct during the term. The special features in the Horace Mann, Crocker and Hamilton schools were exhibits of the handiwork of pupils in manual training and domestic science, the Horace Mann showing good specimens of Iron and brass work and furniture of the mission style. There were exercises each consisting of class songs, instrumental music, recitations, essays, sketches by the pupils by several members of the school department and others.
