PASS OFF HIS HES 1 Wofford Socked The Blue Hose 17-12 Nicholson at the Blue Hose 25-yard line with only 1 :27 gone in the first period Behind the passing of quarterback Carter Davis and Randy Berry the Terriers ran the ball down throat They marched to the goal line in 13 plays with Davis going around the left side of the line to give Wofford a 6-0 lead at the 9:13 mark in the first period A1 Flourish Pulls G-Tech Over Virginia By STEVE CRICK Staff Writer SPARTANBURG Wofford and Presbyterian met here Saturday night for the fifty-eighth time and both teams apparently decided before game time who could make the most mistakes and still win Presbyterian took top honors in the mistake column with four pass interceptions and one fumble stopping several scoring drives Wofford had two fumbles one leading to the Blue only touchdown of the game but no pass interceptions The Terriers won in the penalty category title with 90 yards assessed against them in the game All the mistakes goal in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter on a fourth down and four yards to go situation but he make the yardage However on the next play Oral Chester fumbled the ball at the PC 19 Consequently in four seconds in the fourth quarter from the 12:20 to the 12:26 mark the ball changed hands twice Davis then took his team to the PC 10 with a Terrier drive stalled Clark booted an
