If Fall Clothes Don't Fit, Better Get On Marathon And Lose Extra Weight Farewell picnic Freeman Church Scene Springs Couple A combination of diet and exercise will bring; the best By JOSEPHINE LOWMAN Fall will be upon us before we know it. In a very few weeks we will get our last year's clothes out of mothballs and begin shopping for the new ones we need. Some of my readers are in for a shock! Some of the garments which zipped up easily last year may be stubborn because of summer vacation pounds. What an awful feeling when the zipper refuses to work because we stuffed rather than because it is stuck! However, this often happens in the best of families.

If you would like your fall shopping to be fun, rather than a chore, it is not too early to begin cutting down on calories and tightening muscles up with a few figure-molding exercises. In to give you a little push in that direction I am going to print two more letters from Marathon winners. "Dear Mrs. Lowman: Before your 8-Week Marathon I weighed 150 pounds. I now weigh 130 pounds.

I am 5 feet 5 inches tall. Here are my measurements before and after. Another letter: "Dear Mrs. Lowman: I am the happiest person today! The Marathon instructions seemed so simple that I just did not believe they would work, but they did.

When I started Marathon weighed 158 pounds. I now weigh 127 pounds. Before I started my bust measured 35 inches, waist 31 and hips 41. "I decided to do just the waist hip and thigh exercises, because I wanted my bust to remain the same.
