US Jaycees By Carol Roberta Telegram-Tribune Record-breaking aviator Jeana Yeager who recently moved to Nipomo is among the 10 Outstanding Young Americans named by the United States Jaycees for 1989 that opens blocked arteries under local anesthesia He is research director of a catheter development company he developed but later sold in 1987 for $95 million The US Jaycees has recognized young commissioners and seven parks and recreation commissioners reapply for their jobs by Jan 20 The council will also be asked to consider reducing the number of members for each commission from seven to five Former Planning Commissioner Michael Fiorentino created the one vacancy on the commission when he was elected to the council in November Serving on the subcommittee with Fiorentino was Mayor Dick subcommittee wants to change that to $25 per meeting That could more than double payments to each commissioner with the anticipated increase in scheduled meetings and stepped-up construction activity Parks commissioners will continue to be paid $60 per quarter Morrow said he attempted to notify all commissioners of the proposed recommendations get any he said said they would reapply others said
