Sohlottmann made a business tvlp to New Dim Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. August Beyer and Mrs. Fred Bobsin Jr.

visited at New Ulm Thursday. D. F. Meyer of Mankato was a caller here Thursday. Herman Poehler and W.

P. Stege were New Ulm callers Friday. Richard and Ole Rockvam of Zumbrota arrived here last week very much to the surprise of their brother John. They are thinking of remaining here for this Bummer at least. Max Koblitz went to Minneapolis last SaturdayMrs.

Fred Kuehn was on the toothache sick list last week. The Courtland Creamery Association held a stock holders meeting last Saturday and decided to build a square building 5(5 56 on the old Creamery Company's lot. Work will begin as soon as the "specifications and blue prints are drawn up and the work contracted for. The building is to be made of brick and an up-to-date creamery, is promised. Mrs.

Bertha Drill and children of Mankato visited friends and relatives this week. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Young were very happily surprised Friday evening when some of their friends gathered at their home to celebrate the Wooden wedding anniversary. Mr.

John Meyer at Gibbon last week. G. W. Schlottmann, John, Richard and Ole Rockvam took an Auto ride to Cambria last Sunday. As we understand it the following buildings will be erected here this summer: A new Creamery' building, John Rockvam, Max Friederich and Peter Karr, new dwelling houses.

Arthur Lsnge a few days this week. Andrew Hippert pitched a game of ball for Nicollet at Ottawa last Sunday and came out with the lucky number of 8 to 1 in favor of Nicollet, Andy is some pitcher and he is wide awake at his post. E. C. Etter had charge of the Mail Route here Monday as carrier, while Albert Zimmerman was a visitor in the Cities.

Mr. August Luepke and Miss Louisa Hoerman were married here in the Lutheran Church by Rev. H. Strasen last Thursday. After the ceremony a celebration was held at the home of Wm.

Luepke. A very fine wedding dinner was served and a large crowd was present and a good time was enjoyed. A pretty wedding took place here last Tuesday in the Lutheran Church when Miss Alvina Studtman and Mr. Albert Hermel were united in marriage by Rev. H.

Strasen. After the ceremony a very fine celebration was held at the borne of the bride's father, Mr. William Studtman and a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. The great calamity in Omaha was quickly overshadowed by the terribly disastrous floods in Ohio. Great suffering and sickness from colds and exposure resulted.

Everybody had a good time. Mrs. Susie Dorn is having a new house erected by the Adolf Clobes carpenter crew. H. Rath will have a new dwelling erected in the near future.

Ed. Meidl, Henry Fisher and Willie Gieseke are recruits in the carpenter business. Frank Weninger has planted a nice evergreen grove. Hackers are hauling lumber for the new barn which will be built on their farm after corn planting is done. Anton Meidl will erect a new mmmm ME.

HENRY PECK AND HIS FAMILY AFFAIRS machine shed soon. Fred Meyer went to St. Peter Wednesday. He has been selected as one of the jurymen. Ed.

Bauman is doing his work while be is gone. Louis Clobes came borne for a visit from Fairfax Saturday. He is working on a farm near that place. Golden Gate. Wm. Hewitt and wife of Lonetree spent Sunday at the Wevers home. Miss Kate Weise is at New Ulm this week visiting at the home of her sister. Miss Delia Green of Sleepy Eye is spending the week at the home of Nathan Tesrow.

Mrs. Helen Burgbardt has been quite ill the past week. Her many friends hope to see her about soon. Herman Zegenhagen and wife of Morgan were guests at the home of Richard Poleskl Sunday. John Cutting of Sleepy Eye transacted business here Tuesday.

Miss Leila Pickle returned Wednesday from New Ultn where she visited with relatives for a few days. Dr. Mary Strickler of Sleepy Eye was a professional caller here Thursday. Mrs. Mangel of Madison, is here visiting her sister, Mrs.

Leslie Burghardt. Wm. C. Banker returned last week from Wisconsin where he spent the past winter. Miss Tillie Fiber of Sleepy Eye visited at the Geo.
