Tigerettes won 30 to 23 over the challeng ers, former Tilden students, while the Macon boys' team bow ed to the McCooey Shamrocks by 38 to 27, in games played last night at the high school auditorium here. Larry Welch, Tiger guard was high scorer for the Macon boys' team with six baskets mak ing 12 points. Mary Miller, forward, led the Tigerettes with honors scoring 16 points, with seven baskets, and two free throws.

Capt. Train for the Challeng ers was high point player with 9 points making three baskets and three free throws. Paul Poteet was high man for the M. H. S.

boys' team with points, while Ken Scheu of the McCooey Shamrocks was top scoring man with 13 points. Kenneth Taylor and Kenneth Sanford officiated at the boys' game last night. Frank Gris- wold and Roy Willey, both of Clarence, officiated for the girls' encounter and the boys' clash. The M. H.

JOSEPH Miss Cenelle Epperson, 211 West Sheridan street, spent Thursday night visiting friends in St. Joseph ODELL DOGGETT STILL IN SERIOUS CONDITION Odell DoRgett, who was serious ly injured in an accident about 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at his barn on his farm near Plain view store, continues to remain in a serious condition at the Grim- Smith Hospital, according to 'the Kirksville Daily Express. He is reported unconscious but becomes rational at times. He has not revealed as yet what hap pened.

Mr. Doggett suffered concussion of the brain and a fractured of the skull. MRS. RAY LEA ENTERTAINS SOCIAL CIRCLE CLUB Mrs. Ray Lea entertained the Social Circle Club Wednesday at an all day meeting at her home near Bevier.

A chicken dinner was served at the noon hour. Guests for the day were Miss Donne Staekhousc, Falliert Skinner and Ray Lea. The next meeting will bo at the home of Mrs. Roy Lea on Dec. 24.
