PAGE 10 Alexandria Times Tribune, Wednesday, February 1, IWW Obituaries DON HAND Don M. Hand, 86, Rt. 1, Alexandria, died unexpectedly on January 25 at his residence. He was born in Laketon and had resided in Alexandria since 1927. He retired in 1966 from Delco Remy after 43 years of service, and was also a retired farmer.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Norman) Parr of Alexandria; two sons, Robert and Kenneth Hand, both of Alexandria two sisters, May Poffenberger of Portland, and Opal Mickelson of Edmore, seven grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Hand, in 1983. Services were conducted Saturday at Owens Funeral Home with Rev Clifton Richardson officiating. Burial followed at IOOF Cemetery in Alexandria.

PAULINE WOMACK ELWOOD Pauline Jean Womack, 60, died January 26 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness. She was retired from Home Nursing Care. She was a member of the VFW auxiliary in Alexandria. Surviving are three sons, Larry and Jim Womack, both of Alexandria, and Bruce Womack of Sarasota, three daughters, Vickie (Mrs. Phil) Ferguson of Alexandria, and Linda Hart and Barbara Womack, both of Elwood; three brothers, Ray Lewis of Alexandria, Larry Lewis of Gas City, and Rex Lewis of Huntington; two sisters, Peggy (Mrs.

Larry) Stansberry of Alexandria, and Maxine (Mrs. Roger) Noble of Bluff ton, and 10 grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday at Noffze Funeral Home with Rev. L.H. Oilman officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hurst, in 1978. Services were held January 27 at Noffze Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wachenschwanz officiating. Burial followed at Jones Cemetery in Yorktown.

"Dude" Adams, 90, Rt. 1, Alexandria, died January 26 at Willows nursing home after an extended illness. He was born in Anderson, and had resided in the Alexandria area most of his life. He was a farmer and had driven a school bus in the Alexandria school system from 1945 to 1964. He was a member of the Alexandria Church of God, and Madison County Farm Bureau.

Surviving are two daughters, Virginia (Mrs. Francis) Gough of Peru, and Violet Ferguson of Margate, two sons, Gerald "Bus" Adams of Alexandria, and John Adams of Brandon, a brother, Clarence "Dick" Adams of Mesa, nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Sunday at Owens Funeral Home with Revs. Mark Gough and Clifton Richardson officiating. Burial followed Monday at IOOF Cemetery.

ALONZO HILL Alonzo E. Hill, 87, Rt. 1, Summitville, died January 25 at his residence. He was a native of Tipton County and had lived in Summitville since 1952. He had been employed at American Sheet and Tin Plate Co.

in Elwood for 20 years. He retired in 1968 from Delco Remy after 18 years and was a farmer and member of UAW Local 662 Retirees. Surviving are a son, Robert J. Hill of Fairmount; a daughter, Wanda Jean (Mrs. George) Slater of Elwood; a sister, Leona Wesson of Longview, four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted Saturday at Noffze Funeral Home in Summitville with Rev. Neil Allen officiating. Burial followed at Elwood City Cemetery. DORSIA HURST Dorsia L. Hurst, 90, Rt.

1, Alexandria, died January 25 at her Fathers Phillip Haslinger and Charles W. Remaklus officiating. Burial followed at park View Cemetery. A liturgical wake service was conducted fit Owens Funeral Home on Sunday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to St.

Mary's building fund through the funeral home. DORIS DUDLEY Doris J. Dudley, 64, Rt. 1, Summitville, died Saturday at Community Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Sullivan, she resided in the Summitville area since 1949.

She was a nurse aide at Community Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of First Christian Church in Summitville, the Christian Women's Fellowship of the church, and the Fairmount Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Jesse, preceded her in death. 1 Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Darlene Anderson of Alexandria; two brothers, Charles Hudson of Bicknell, and Morris Hudson of Sullivan; and one granddaughter. Services will be held today at 1 p.m.

at First Christian Church with Pastor Neil W. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Vinson Memorial Cemetery in Summitville. Friends may call at Owens Funeral Home one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Cancer Society.

KAYLA WISE Kayla Alexandra Wise died at birth Saturday at Community Hospital. Surviving are her parents, Bobby and Karen Wise, Rt. 3, Alexandria; three brothers, Jeremy Brian, Brian Milliner, and Chad Milliner, all at home; maternal grandparents, Willard and Marion Richard of Alexandria; paternal grandparents, Bob and Helen Wise of Alexandria; paternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Maedelle Fields of Summitville; paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Wise of Dan-dridge, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at Park View Cemetery with Don McLaughlin officiating. Friends may call at Owens Funeral Home after noon on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Anderson Christian School through the funeral home. LUCILLE EVANS Lucille B. Evans, 78, 207 E. John Alexandria, died Sunday at her residence following an extended illness. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, Victor M. Evans; two daughters, Cynthia (Mrs. Larry) Goettle of Mitchell, and Barbara (Mrs. Alva) Ice of Summitville; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted today at Noffze Funeral Home at 3 p.m.

with Rev. Gary Houston officiating. Entombment will follow in IOOK Mausoleum. CHERITI R1GUS Cheriti Ann Riggs, 21, Rt. 1, Alexandria, died January 26 at Community Hospital from injuries suffered in a car-train accident.

She was born in Peru and had resided in Alexandria since 1976, moving there from Anderson. She was a 185 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and was a senior at Ball State University. She was doing her student teaching at Cunningham Elementary School and also had taught at Claypool, Southview, Garfield, Anthony, and Grissom schools in Muncie. She had been a resident assistant at DeMotte Hall at Ball State and assistant unit director at the family unit at Camp Algonquin in Algonquin, III. A member of National Residence Hall Honorary, she was recently inducted into Golden Key Honorary and was on the dean's list at Ball State.

She was also participating in the EXCEL program, an excellence in elementary education course of study. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents, Mike and Karen (Redic) Riggs; two sisters, Penny Riggs at Purdue Univeristy, and Betsy Riggs at home; maternal grandmother, Ann Redic of Anderson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Smith of Anderson; and paternal grandfather, Woodrow Riggs of New Castle. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Monday at 10 a.m.

1, Alexandria, died January 26 as the result of injuries suffered in a car-train acci- dent. A native of Anderson, he had lived in Alexandria since 1976. He was employed at Cox Farms, west of Alexandria. He was a senior at Alexandria-Monroe High School and To visit a college campus up close. To see Brett Crist play in a college game.

The kids had a great time and were able to see what college life was like.
