An option has been obtained and a deposit of $6000 paid on the two blooks of vacant land between Twelfth and Fourteenth, Union and Poplar streets, upon which the company is to build- an lmmenre plant employing 1000 people.

The greatest significance in connection with the coming off the plant lies In the fact that it will be made a show place, located amid pleasant surroundings, Ip a residence district, and on street car and Key Route ferry Unas, mak ing It easily accessible to the constant'1 stream of visitors always welcomed by the company. In the erection of the plant and in the beau-tfTicatlon of the grounds. a a a An important sale of Inst week was that of tlve old St. Paul's Episcopal I Church property, at the northeast corner of Grand avenue and Webster streets, which was transferred to Fred E. Reed, a broker, representing out- of-town Investors. The considera tion was $85,000.
