Memorial service is being held today (Oct. 16) at 1 p.m. at Chilliwack General Hospital. Rev. Rob Lees officiated.

Cremation is at the Victory Memorial Park Crematorium in Surrey. Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She was born Feb. 2, 1892 at Gron-ingen, Holland. Formerly of New Westminster and Sardis, she lived in Chilliwack since 1951.

She was a retired matron at Menholm Senior Citizens' Home. 4, 1889 at Liverpool, England. He lived in the Chilliwack area for 80 years. He was a dairy farmer, and the first president of Chilliwack Central Coop. One of the last surviving charter members of the Chilliwack Rotary Club, he was also a member of the first board of directors of the Chilliwack Artificial Insemination Centre. He was a past noble grand of Excelsior Lodge of the International Order of Odd Fellows, and a past chairman of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

He is survived by his wife Irene; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Douglas and Madeline Barker of Sar-dis, Ronald Barker of Abbotsford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Gordon Higginson of Ryder Lake, and Doreen Delmer Hall of Chilliwack; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Lawrence Craig of Kamloops; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. "Hugh" Bolstad of 9834 Barber Chilli wack, died suddenly Oct. 7 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Funeral service was held Oct. 11 from the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack. Rev.

Rob Lees officiated. Bearers were Bill Moore, Fred Reich, Herman Hall, Percy Robinson, Jo Paterson and Larry McKieting. Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery. He was born Nov. 10, 1907 at St.

John, North Dakota. Formerly of Nakusp, he lived in the Chilliwack area for 26 years. He was a member of the Retired Teachers' Assocation, the Sons of Norway, the Kiwanis Golden Club and the Branch 4 Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his son, Robert John of Rosedale; one daughter, Barbara-Ann Wellwood of Calgary, four grandchildren; one sister, Frances Fisher of Lumby; two brothers, Ted Bolstad of Oliver and Gene Bolstad of Edmonton, Alta. Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery. She was born Oct. 26, 1896 in Czechoslovakia. A housewife at home, she lived in the Chilliwack area for 55 years. She is survived by her husband John; two sons and daughters-in-law, Milan and Eileen of Sardis, Steve and Helen of Chilliwack; seven grand-children and two greatgrandchildren; one brother, John Holcik of Chilliwack.

RICHARD 'DICK' HERBERT MILTON Richard Herbert Milton of 47835 Camp River Chilliwack, died Oct. 8 at his residence. Memorial service was held Oct. 11 from St. Thomas Anglican Church.

Rev. Colin Goode officiated. Cremation was at Victory Memorial Park Crematorium. Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He was born Feb.

13, 1920 at Bridgewater, England. A retired professional engineer, he lived in Chilliwack since 1957. He is survived by his wife Gwedoline; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard James and Alexis Seniors may unite Representatives of seven senior citizens groups met Oct. 8 at the Chilliwack Public Library to discuss formation of a Senior Citizens' coordinating council. The groups have a combined membership of more than 1,200 people.

This latest meeting follows one held last March sponsored by Chilliwack Community Services. Delegates were asked to return to their membership and seek views and recommendations on the public transportation needs ot seniors. Chilliwack General Hospital social worker Larry Peabody outlined the need for a comprehensive study involving all sectors of the community and concerning the present and future needs of the older residents in our area. A town meeting with seniors will be held Oct. 25 at St.

Thomas Anglican Church hall, sponsored by the newly-formed council and Chilliwack Community Services. Guest speaker Mayor John Jansen will speak on "The District of Chilliwack and our seniors." The next meeting of the Chilliwack Seniors' Co-ordinating Council will be Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Chilliwack Public Library. All senior citizens groups are invited to send a representative.

John's Anglican Church in Sardis. Rev. Henry Roderick officiated. Cremation was at Victory Memorial Park Crematorium in Surrey. Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born June 24, 1912 in Sardis, and lived there all his life. He was a retired assessor for the Township of Chilliwhack. He was a former member of the B.C. Assessors' Association. He was a former member of Chilliwack Kinsmen Gub and the Chilliwack Flying Club.

He was a lifelong member of St. John's Anglican Church in Sardis. He is survived by his wife Audrey; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ann and Donald Smith of Gwynne, and Alison Higginson of Vancouver; two grandsons, Josiah and Jesse; two brothers, Charles Allen Higginson of Chilliwack, and Harold Gordon Higginson of Ryder Ijike; several nieces and nephews. KATERINA HRUSIK Katerina llrusik of 45520 West Iwis Chilliwack, died Oct. 8 at Chilliwack General Hospital.

16) at 2 p.m. at Harrison Gospel Church in Harrison Hot Springs. Pastor Aldon Leoppky is officiating. Bearers are Frank Burger, Les World, Rick Bradburn, Mathew Burger, Rudy Marochi and Dan Bailey. Burial is at the Valleyview Cemetery in Agassiz.

Henderson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 18, 1904 at Qu'Appelle, Sask. A retired restaurateur, he lived in Harrison Hot Springs for 40 years. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Doris and Jack Little of Harrison Hot Springs, Margaret Apostolakis of Harrison Hot Springs; one grandchild; two brothers, Matthew of Vancouver and Frank of Victoria; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Eva and Tom Laughton of Vancouver, Mary and Martin Mulvihill of Calgary, Elizabeth Henry of Courtenay. ARCHIE BARKER Archie Barker of 9100 Charles died Oct.

13 at his residence. Funeral service will be held today (Oct. 16) at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack. Rev.
