gun in the commission of a felony in the May 1987 slaying of a gas station courier at Waterford Township near Pontiac Mich Waterford Township Sgt Don Bailey said Elmer DeBoer 38 was robbed of $10000 kidnapped and shot twice in the back of the head Strickland 26 said he did not know anything about the slaying or why he was being charged with the crimes He said he wanted to return to Michigan after
