For yean WINK-TV was the dominant news station but it has now fallen on hard times Meanwhile WBBH has reeled off several rating period wins in a row for the important 6 pm hnd 11 pm newscasts Even though WINK has several radio stations to help promote its cause WBBH has done a better job of marketing its news image personalities and its product The Waterman Broadcasting Co is spending more money on people and equipment is more aggressive and its management seems to have a better grasp of what the community is looking for in news coverage WINK-TV for yean had more viewers entrenched in older demographics Now that South-' west Florida is growing and getting younger the station has been unable to grab a proportionate number of new viewers to keep it on top in the news race next?
