Roger Loughran Is Speaker At Annual Banquet Roger H. Loughran, lawyer and justice of the peace, addressed the teachers of the first supervisory district of Ulster county, following the annual banquet Saturday evening at Williams Lake.

Hadassah Announces Donor Dinner Dance The Kingston chapter of Hadassah announces a donor dinner and dance with entertainment to be held on Sunday.

June 14, at Hotel, Loch Sheldrake. The local chapter will join with the Ellcnville chapter for the affair. Funds raised from the social event will be used for the Hadassah Medical Organization whose activities include the building and maintaining of non-sectarian hospitals and nursing centers in Israel, and the pursuit of research on diseases of the middle east. The idea of a donor affair was a new one to Hadassah this season and in order to raise the cost ot admission, the women have worked all year in various interesting ways that included babysitting. baking, doing needlecraft and handiwork, giying luncheons and card distribut tickets for the Ballet and Grr win Concert held 3t the Broadway Theatre earlier this season.

The purpose of these activities was to encourage resourcefulness of the membership in filling the quotas. Although much of the fund raising was accomplished in these diverse ways, many have supplemented their quotas with direct personal contributions. Members who have not as yet reached their full quota, are urged make their reservations now, since jthcv have until June to hand in results.
