Most of the students at Chemawa are scheduled to leave for their homes during the coming week and next Sunday, so tomorrow will be their last day at St. Timothy's until their return to Chemawa School next falL The presence of the Russian Orthodox students is the result of an arrangement thought to be unique in the United States. Aldrich, United Church of, Christ, wul represent their Salem congregations in a new Christian Education training program at Pilgrim Firs near Ta coma, this week. Those trained win be known as Christian Education Associates and will serve for three years in advisory and training capacity for Oregon churches of the denomination, particularly In connection with a new church school curriculum. Multnomah Bible School to Give Program Sunday Multnomah School of the Bible will present a program Sunday at 7 pjn. in First Baptist Church. The delegation will include Dr.

Besides the Russian Orthodox students at Chemawa who attend St Timothy's Church and who will be feted at the party to morrow night are Episcopalian students from Alaska, both Eski mo and Indian, and Episcopa lians from the Navajo Reservation in the four-state area at the corners of Utah, Colorado, Ari zona and New Mexico. Episcopal Building Planned Statesman Ktws Service SH.VERT0N Plans are being made for a new building for the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration on its property at Cent er and Fairview. The old residence which was converted into a church a few years ago when the Episcopal church was organized here, will be moved to the rear of the property to be used as a parish hall. Plans for the new church call for 2,000 square feet and a seating capacity of 150. Bids will be called for next week with Boyd Brown, Hubbard is pesigner and architect.

Plans call for complet ing the new church by November. The congregation rec 1 1 bought additional property to bring its holding up to about two acres. Members of the congregation is listed at 70. Congregation To Consider New Property Good Shepherd Lutheran Church members will consider plans for buying property for a future new church building at two congregational meetings Sun day.
