Mildred Query of Roberts received 1,451 tallies. Because they were first and second place winners respectively, out el a field of eight men candi dates for. two newly-established positions on the School-Board En right with 1,842 votes took the three-year term and Hammel. with 113 rotes won the one-year Wife of. a Salem physician, Mrs.

Maltby was appointed to the school board fa 1960-and elected last year. Active in school and community activities both Ea-right and Hammel art Oregoa as-gistanta attorney general. Other candidates and the votes they receiTed included Oscar H. Specht, U5f Ralph W. G.
