Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Blankenship was born in Independence, Iowa, son of Lloyd and Velma Bie-ber Blankenship. He was employed by Wabash Hospital and a member of the Wabash Fellowship Club for 27 years. Surviving are his mother; brother, Charles of Decatur; sisters, Mrs. Bud (Bernice) Wirth and Mrs.

Gilbert (Dorothy) McKinley of Charleston; Mrs. Jack (Jane) Calvert of Decatur. Two sisters preceded him in death. Caudle Morton G. Caudle, of Springfield, formerly of Decatur, died 12:10 p.m.

Thursday (Dec. 4, 1980) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Bisch Funeral Home, Springfield, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m.

Sunday. Burial She was a member of Illiopolis Christian Church and Royal Neighbors of America. She was a retired employee of Hi-Flyer Kite Co. She married Chris Mickelsen In 1930. He died in 1976.
