a mm HOMEOWNERS LEASE SCHOOL SITE FOR DEVELOPING BALL DIAMOND IB JULY 13 1971 TUESDAY EVENING Section OGDEN UTAH Offlden Weber Districts Ogden Eoard of Education has agreed to lease five acres of land southwest of Beus Pond near Weber State College campus to a homeowners association Gordon Belnap of 1592 Oakcrest Drive spoke on behalf of the property owners explaining they had incorporated to improve the land now a hayfield for use as a park The city explained Mr Belnap has no funds to develop Beus Park The association plans to landscape the school property and build a baseball diamond Although the association would control use of the park the public would not be banned from the property Under an agreement the association would lease the property for $25 a year with option to renew
