Hedrick, 24, of Algona remains serious following an automobile accident early Saturday morning near Ventura. Hedrick suffered a head injury that has developed blood clots and 14 cracks in his pelvis. He is unconscious most of the time, but partially regains consciousness for short intervals. Until the blood clots are removed, it will bo impossible to place him in a cast. Hedrick's car went out of control on slippery pavement as it reached the bottom of a hill east of Ventura on highway 18. It plunged down an embankment and onto a lake. Hedrick was thrown out of the car and the vehicle came to rest across his legs, pinning him to the ice. At first it was thought he had escaped serious injury but a complete examination disproved this. Hedrick is still at Mercy hospital in Mason City but will be moved to Veteran's hospital in DCS Moines 1950 PONTIAC NOW ON DISPLAY PLAN TO SEE THEM AT JVLGOHA IMPLEMENT CO.
