Special guests will be the parents of students who plan to attend Oregon State College next fall This will be the last meeting until the all term. Hillcrest Girls Sing for Lodge Girls from Hillcrest presented an interesting program at the meeting of the Salem Rebekah Lodge. They were accompanied by -Mrs. E. Brown, musician and instructor.

The girls gave a group of ongs and pantomime and the chorus also sang. One number included a solo with guitar accompaniment. Mrs. Ted Rhoades, noble grand, reported on the United' Nations meeting and a reading was given for good of the order. School night will be held next Monday with officers and mem bers asked to wear formals.

Adams to Visit From' Europe SILVERTON Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Adams, who have been with the U. S. government in Paris, France, for the past 30 months, are expected- home in early June for a brief visit Mr.

Adams, who is with the Mutual Security Administration, was selected for a five day conference in Washington, D. with state -department officials. While in Washington they will be house guests of Mrs. Adams' parents, the Hiram Humphreys. They fly from Paris on May 29 and after their Washington conference are expected to arrive in Silverton June 12 for a week before flying on to Palo Alto, where Mr.

Adams will be at Stanford for a few days, returning to Silverton for another brief visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Adams, and returning to Paris again on June 29. Mrs.

Adams is with SHAPE with Gen. Ridgway. The two plan to remain in Europe for at leasf another year. Mr. and Mrs.

Earl Adams spent the early part of this year in Europe as guests of the Wallace Adams and of the' former's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Barkhurst. 'The Bark-hursts will leave Paris on July 15 for home after a year there on a Ford Foundation scholarship. They will return to Corvallis, where Mr.

Barkhurst was teaching when he was selected for the scholarship. He is the son of Mrs. Sadie Barkhurst of Silverton. Gives Party For Pupils Mrs. Ronald Craven will entertain her piano students this afternoon at 3 o'clock after a recital rehearsal.

The formal recital will be at Roberts studio June 7. Mrs. Craven is planning several other recitals. During the rehearsal numbers will be played by Mar-netta Moore, who with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Roger D. Moore, are moving away. They will all be special guests. her piano students in a recital this afternoon -at the Roberts Studio at 2 o'clock.
