June 8. from Ulster County Community College distinction," lias been awarded a scholarship from Kingston Trust Company to continue his education toward a baccalaureate degree at State University of New York at Oneonta. Mr. Jordan was conferrd an Associate Degree in Arts at UCCC.

He attained List average. At the college, Mr. Jordan was president of the Circle Club, affiliated with Kingston Kiwanis Club. The Club received a Humanitarian Service Award from the United Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County for sponsoring the Third Annual Cerebral Palsy Bowling Tournament. Mr.

Jordan recently won an ortorical contest award on the state level at the New York District Circle convention at Lake Luzerne. In winning the contest trophy, he com peted against students from 17 other colleges and universities in New York State. His topic was Tomorrow A resident of Russell Road, Hurley. Mr. Jordan is a graduate of Kingston High School.

He is employed for the summer by IBM. Kingston, and Grand Union Company.
