MBEPa "SWrfPiiJTf-pHf 1 ALBERT TAYLOR IS ELECTED TO CONGRESS AT CRAWFORD Running for Office" is not the' strongest bill Albert Talor has offered to his Kl Paso patrons but he managed to get by with a lot of laughs at the first presentation of the piece Jlon-dav night at the Crawford theater. "Running for Office" is a political satire in whkh a man Is forced to run for congress against his will and Gen. Josia Limber, played by Albert Taylor, is sent to congress without making the race. Stranger things have happened right here in EI Paso and Taylor should make an excellent congressman with his long tailed coat and his fine speaking voice. He gets an aged widow person wished onto him during his career as campaign manager for the congressional candidate and has as hard time dodging her as he does to get enough votes to elect his candidates.

Miss Ilollingsworth is the real girl the general has his eye on and he succeeds in persuading her to marry him by force of a suffraget argument, leaving the widow waiting at the church. The usual between-acts vaudeville was missing Monday night. N. M. TV.
