On this Special Occasion While many sections have in the past 100 years suffered floods, droughts and major disasters to agriculture, Kossuth county has felt the kindness of divine providence, has seen bountiful harvests come year after year. It is an occasion for rejoicing, for celebration, for gaiety. "March of Progress" as applied to Kossuth county are not idle words. They have a real meaning; let's join in a unified, happy chorus, let us rejoice, relax, and enjoy ourselves on this special occasion. Progress and Advancement And, with 100 years of achievement behind us, let us take this occasion to seek inspiration for continued Progress and Advancement in our own territory.
