With the games called off Thursday night due the softball league had but two games this week. In the Thursday night games, Service Grocery nosed out Holy Name, 64 in a very evenly matched game that saw but six hits for both teams. The Land-Air-Tularosa game too. was a close one until the when Tularosa exploded with five runs to win, 9-4. Holy Name scored twice in the first frame by taking advantage of four of the total of five errors in the game while Service Grocery pushed one across the plate on three walks and two passed halls.

Both Arenas and Garcia settled down thereafter and pitched good ball for the rest of the game. Arenas struck out two and walked four while giving up four hits to take the loss.
