Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Dawson Wi-koff Funeral Home, with, visitation after 5 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mackville Cemetery, Atwood. Mr.

Landgrebe was born in Moultrie County, a son of Jacob L. and Ruth Landgrebe. He was a retired telegrapher for the Baltimore Ohio Railroad. Mr. Landgrebe was a member of Wesleyan Holiness Church and the Gideon Society.

He married Gladys Leach in 1922. Surviving is his wife. Two brothers preceded him in death. MCYAY James L. McVay, 52, of 3021 Lynn wood died 9:08 p.m.

Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 7:30 p.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church. Cremation will follow. No visitation.

Arrangements are being handled by Brintlinger's-Pershing Funeral Home. Memorials: American Cancer Society, Junior Achievement, Decatur, Junior Football League. Mr. McVay was born in Texas, son of Walter and Essie McVay. He was production manager at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.

He was a member of Tyrian Lodge, Erie, Decatur Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and the American Chemical society. Surviving are his wife, Patricia; sons, Larry and Gregory, both at home; daughter, Mrs. John (Gail) Cravens of Decatur. Burial will be in Restha-ven Memorial Gardens, one mile east of Mattoon. Mrs. Lowry was born in Searcy, daughter of Da vid and Anna Hamilton. She was a member of Union Con- gregationalist Church of Mat toon. She married Syr us Wal lace Lowry in 1917.

He died in 1973. Surviving are sons, James M. of Phoenix, Elbert of Mattoon; Wayne of Louisville, sisters, Mrs. Noda (Opal) Bruce of Effingham; Mrs. Walter (Nola) Turpin of Altamont; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.

One son preceded her in death. MCINTIRE John Mclntire, 82, of Taylor-ville died 5:05 p.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

Friday in Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. MERYMAN Mrs. Emanuel (Edith Marie Wiseman) Meryman, 83, of Moweaqua died 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in Muirheid's Nightingale Manor, Decatur.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in I OOF Cemetery, Moweaqua. No visitation. Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Moweaqua, is in charge. Mrs.

Meryman was born in Roodhouse, a daughter of Ben and Mary Ellen Wiseman. Mrs. Meryman was a charter member of Moweaqua Women's Club and a member of First Christian Church in Moweaqua, Shelmaco Club and Rebekah Lodge. She married Emanuel Meryman, who died in 1968. Surviving are a sister, Mrs.

Scott (Esther) Sutton of Peoria; stepbrother, Ben Wiseman of Coffeyville, stepsister, Mrs. Mildred Wedding-ton of Tulsa, Okla. PENWELL Mrs. Elva J. Jennings Pen-V well, 77, of Beecher City died 2:50 a.m.

Wednesday in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Funeral services will be noon Friday in Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown, with no visitation. Burial will be in Beecher City Cemetery. Mrs. Penwell was born in Beecher City, daughter of Jesse F.

and Zelda Jennings. Surviving are son, Bruce V. of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Mrs. Caroline Orwiler of Springfield, Mrs. Janey Townsley of Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

PIKOWITZ Walter Daniel Pikowitz, 70, of Mattoon died 2 p.m. Thursday in Mattoon Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held in McKane Funeral Home in Bangor, Mich. He was born in Chicago, son of John Damion and Mary Pikowitz. He- was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Mattoon and Moose Lodge of Mattoon.

He married Catherine Majer-cak in 1930. Surviving are his wife; son, Walter Daniel, of Oak Lawn; daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Shepard of Palos Heights; brother, Daniel Pick of Home wood; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Sophie) DeSomer and Mrs. Vickie Scott, both of Hudson Lake, Mrs.

Julie Luna of Oak Forest; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister. PORTER Cloyd E. Porter, 79, of Car-linviUe, formerly of Assumption, died 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in linville.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Sherwood Fa neral Home, Assumption, with visitation after 5 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption. Mr.

Porter was born in Mo weaqua, son of Arthur and Julia Porter. He married Madge Carter in 1921. Surviving are his wife of Fillmore; son, Errol of Indiana polis, sisters, Mrs. Edna Moore of Pueblo, Colo; Mrs. Alta Epperson of Lincoln; Mrs.

Myrtle Schenk of Central City, Iowa; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded him in death. ROBINSON Mrs. William (Edna Fay Tull) Robinson, 56, of rural Blue Mound, formerly of Windsor, died 5 p.m. Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Lockart Son Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Fri day. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery. Lockart-Lovins Funeral Home, Windsor, is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Windsor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Tull. She was a member of the Findlay United Methodist Church.

She married William Robinson in 1942. Surviving are her husband; sons, David of Decatur; Paul of Pennsylvania; Richard, at home; brother Clarence Tull of Chicago; four grandchildren. STURGEON Charles E. Sturgeon, 78, of rural Vandalia was dead on ar rival 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Fa yette County Hospital, Van dalia.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, with visitation after 5 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, near Vera. He was- born in Assumption, son of Louis and Winnie Stur geon.

He married Ruby Denton in 1928. Surviving are his wife; half brothers, Kenneth, Ralph, Bernard and William, all of Jack sonville; half sister, Mrs. Ma- xine Kregss of Springfield. WALKER Alfred Raymond "Jack" Walker, 70, of Humboldt died 4 p.m. Thursday in Mattoon Me morial Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Shrader Funeral Home, Areola. Mr. Walker was born in Coles County, son of William and Dora Walker. He operated Jack's Body Shop in Mattoon and was a member of the Christian Church. He married Dorothy Metier.

Surviving are his wife; sons, Terry of Humboldt; Ronnie of Clermont, daughers, Mrs. Lavana Coslow of Decatur; Mrs. Virginia Patridge of Los Angeles, sister, Mrs. Josephine Ford of Rossville; half sister, Mrs. Willie Lutz of Areola.

One son preceded him in death. WISELEY Mrs. Charles (Maggie Stain-brook) Wiseley, 90, of Sullivan died 6:05 p.m. Wednesday in Hawthorne Lodge, Sullivan. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.

Saturday in First Church of God, Sullivan. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in McMul-lin Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Mrs.

Wiseley was born in Jasper County, a daughter of Don and Susanna Stainbrook. She was a member of First Church of God, Sullivan. She married Charles Wiseley in 1909. He died in 1960. Surviving are sons, Ralph B.

of Decatur; Devere of Areola; Opah and Irvin Varvil, both of Sullivan; daughter, Mrs. Earl (Flossie) Atteberry of Sullivan; sister, Mrs. Haddie White of Findlay; half sisters, Mrs. Lena Stovall of Pekin; Murna Rigby of Racine, 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.

ZUMWALT John S. "Jack" Zumwalt, 68, of Roswell, N.M., formerly of Farmer City, died 5 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital, Roswell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

He was a retired farmer and auctioneer. He served as postmaster of Oconee from 1908 to 1923. He was a member of Oconee United Methodist Church, Oconee Masonic Lodge 392, Rhododendron Chapter 252 Order of Eastern Star, Bloom-ington Ccnsistory and Ansar Shrine. He married Sara B. Morgan in 1926.

Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. James Kuntz of Princeville; Mrs. Roger Manuel of Wheaton; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Munzenmaier, Anna Diefenthaler and Elizabeth Diefenthaler, all of Pana; six grandchildren; one greatgrandchild. FLEMING Mrs.

Irma Graham Fleming, 56, of Mattoon died 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Mattoon Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mitchell-Jer-dan Funeral Home, Mattoon, with visitation after 6 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon. Mrs. Fleming was born in Coles County, daughter of Ros-coe and Ora Acel Graham. She was a member of Broadway Christian Church, Mattoon. Surviving are sisters, Mrs.

Helen Hillis, Mrs. Berdina Outhouse and Mrs. James (Norma Jean) Waldrop, all of Mattoon; Mrs. Dorothy West of Lerna; brother, Donald Leroy Graham of Mattoon. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

HOLMAN James Thomas Holman, 70, of St. Elmo died 4:55 p.m. Wednesday in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown-May Funeral Home, St.

Elmo, with visitation after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo. Mr.

Holman was born in Fayette County, son of John and Alice Holman. He was a World War II veteran, member of Al-tamont VFW and St. Elmo American Legion. He married Mildred Randolf in 1930. She died in 1936.

Central Illinois CLARK Leland C. Clark, 65, of Mat-toon died 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mattoon Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Schilling's Funeral Home, Mattoon, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m.

Friday. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Mr. Clark was born in Newton, son of Hayes and Ellsa Clark. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Moose Lodge.

He married Lillian Cook Joplin. Surviving are his wife; brother, Harold of Evansville, sisters, Mrs. Olive Daily of Mattoon; Mrs. Vera McElwee ef Frankfort, Ind.
