contract NEW YORK (UPI) The boards of the East Coast and Midwest unions for movie and television actors ratified a three-year contract Monday The action virtually eliminated chances of a strike that threatened to delay the fall television season The 48-14 vote with three abstentions cleared the way for final approval of the prime-time television contract by some 92000 union members The eastern and central board vote came two days after the the West Coast boards of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists endorsed the contract on a 40-10 vote with
