Summer is vacation time for house plants, too, and the best place for most of them is in the garden. So if you done so already, be sure to get them out into the air without delay.

Place them in a part of the garden protected from drafts, winds and beating rain. While most plants like two hours or so of early morning sun, don't place any plant where it will have full sun during the afternoon heat. Remember to water your house plants in the garden during dry weather even the desert cacti. Since summer is the growing season for house plants, most of them require much feeding. Liquid manure is the best fertilizer, and nitrate of soda solution is also beneficial soon after the plant is transferred to the garden.
