Weber was born March 21, 1922, in Tuscola, the daughter of Henry and Nora Kincaid Scheu. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at the phone company for several years. She was a member of Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. Mrs. Weber was responsible for the linens at the church for several years.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and canning. She married Quentin Michael Weber on Nov. 6, 1945, in Tuscola. Surviving are her husband; son, Bill Weber of Piano, Texas; daughters, Shirley Taylor of Tuscola; Joan Col-well and Judy Weber-Jones, both of Champaign; eight grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Weber; and brothers, Harold and Howard Scheu.

Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the funeral home, and also one hour before service time on Thursday. Burial will immediately follow the service at Macon County Memorial Park, Har-ristown, IL. Helen was born September 22, 1925 in Stewardson, IL, the daughter of Wm. J. "Bryan" Beals and Hesper H.

(Buffenmeyer) Beals. She graduated from Cowden High School, Cowden, IL and Brown's Business College, Decatur, IL. She was retired from PPG Industries, Works 14, Mt. Zion, IL; taught countless kids, and some adults to swim in her backyard pool and was a member of Central Christian Church and the Stephen Decatur Rose Society. She married E.

William "Bill" Ditty on October 12, 1947 at Antioch Christian Church, Long Creek, IL. Surviving is her daughter, H. Susan Jones and husband, Larry who was the son she never had, Decatur; two grandchildren, Dennis Jones and wife Rachael of Franklin, LL and Christine Jones and partner Margaret Jobst of Bloomington, IL; five great-grandchildren, Hol-lie, Matthew, Zachary, Patrick and Emily of Franklin, IL; sister, Norma Jean Swmford and husband, Gene of Decatur, LL; sister-in-law, Lois I. (Mrs. Robert Beals of East Liverpool, OH; plus several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, parents and brother preceded her in death. Helen faced a long and sometimes very difficult struggle following her stroke in 1999, plus many related and subsequent illnesses; but her shear will and determination kept her going until the end. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that loved her. The family especially wishes to thank Dr. John W.

Newlin, MD and all of the staff at Manor Care Health Services for their loving care and concern for Helen during her long illness. Everrett was born on July 16, 1930 in Decatur a son of Leslie and Harriett (Bowden) Bentley. He was retired from the Teamsters Union where he had worked for Crawford Distributing and Newman Ulhman. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Bud was a member of the American Legion Post 105 and the Boiling Springs Church of God. He married Patricia Laverne Butt on September 30, 1951 in Decatur.

She preceded him in death on July 5, 2004. Surviving are his son-Mark E. Bentley of Decatur, a daughter- Pamela and her husband Dennis Kates of Lov-ington, sister- Patricia and husband Charles Eschbaugh of Shelbyville, sister in law-Doris Groves, grandchildren-Michael Parker, Mandy Mid-dleton and Jason Brown, 3 great grandchildren- Kaitlyn, Kiley and Alii and 4 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother- Leslie Bentley. The family would like to give special thanks to the Fair Haven Christians Home and Decatur Memorial Hospital for all of their special care and support.

Maxine Bernice King was born September 14, 1905, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of William and Caroline (Hornung) King. She married Vernon G.

Talbott on August 20, 1928, in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1969. Maxine and Vern moved to Decatur in the 1930's. In Keokuk, Maxine worked as a secretary. When she moved to Decatur, she worked in the garment-making industry.

During the Great Depression and World War II, she did a considerable amount of canning of homegrown vegetables. She never turned away a hobo who needed food. Maxine loved to sew; she won many Blue Ribbons and Purple Rosettes from her State Fair entries, including a Champion-Best Miscellaneous Textiles- Award at the 1985 Illinois State Fair. She specialized in bears and other stuffed animals. She also had a love of animals, particularly dachshunds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Vernon; her sisters: Gracie King, Myrtle (King) Case, and Essie King; brothers: William E. King and E. Ross King; and daughter-in-law Nancy Talbott. She is survived by her son: Vernon G. Talbott, of Decatur; grand-daughter Melissa F.

"Ace" Williams, 86, of Decatur, died 5:50 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2005, in his home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 22, at First Lutheran Church, with visitation 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, Laurel Williams June 21, at Brintlinger Earl Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Har-ristown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church. Mr. Williams was born July 1, 1918, in Mountain View, Missouri, the son of Asa L. and Jesse (Reese) Williams.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Mr. Williams worked as a machinist for Bold Machine Works for 60 years. He was a U.S. Navy Sea Bee veteran in the 117th C.B.

Unit in the South Pacific in WWII. Mr. Williams was also a square dance caller. He married June E. Phillips on November 8, 1941, at First Lutheran Church.

She preceded him in death on June 21, 1995. Mr. Williams is survived by his sons: Phillip A. Williams and wife Debbie of Woodland Park, CO; Donald D. Williams and wife Nancy of Decatur; grandchildren: Stephanie Lynn Nix and husband Trevis of Indianapolis, IN; Tara Sue Williams of Bradenton, FL; Jennifer Jane Latshaw and husband John of Mt.

Zion; greatgrandchildren: Caitlyn Jane Latshaw, Travis Donald Latshaw, Samantha Lynn Nix, and Ruchianne Astelle Williams; three step-grandchildren, four step-greatgrandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild. Nancy enjoyed playing pool and spending time with her family including her second cousins whom she treated as her own grandchildren. Surviving are her six cousins; one aunt and one uncle.
