despite veering rather desperately between comedy and thriller so that it is at this adaptation her classic whodunnit Murder on the Nile is a very entertaining play The scene is set in the observation lounge of a paddle steamer on the Nile where an assorted group of people are taking a pleasure cruise But it is less than pleasurable for very rich very beautiful Kay Mostyn (Karen Gledhill) who is murdered in Act Two It seems that a lot of people wished her ill including the obvious suspect Jacqueline de Severac brilliantly played by Christine McKenna who is the jealous ex-girlfriend of new
